Love how they take time to explain and let me test ride a few models. Staff are amazing, and down to earth. Their Thunder e bikes come with higher component compared to other e bike in the market. Also It's nice to have a piece of mind that they do all types of services, maintenance and great warranties policies. We were in the market to purchase e bikes as we rented them on vacation. As the case with technology it is advancing so quickly as does the market for E bikes. We had tried a few of the popular brands and found it hard to decide. We are living in a rural area so it was important to have the quality and support for service. I researched and for the price point nothing touchesthe sales and services that Richmond E bikes provide. The minute we entered their store we were greeted by a professional staff who understood the market. We were provided with technical information to help us understand the performance and quality that goes into building these bikes. Yes, they are built locally! Thumm & Tam invited us to tour the warehouse / maintenance center. All was in order and what I would expect from a custom shop. The service was second to none. Tamm made sure she helped find the best pricing on bikes and accessories. We were even given a discount on any accessory items we wanted, and free service for the first year. As we were from out of town it was important that the delivery went flawless. We were kept apprised of the status and time of delivery. Yes, the delivery was included or both bikes. It was easy to assembly the handle bars and tires. They had to be removed for shipping, Thumm gave video instruction on how to assemble. Not needed as assembly was a breeze. These are Hub drive models not md chain drive. We didn't want to be stranded in the vent we broke a chain. .

(Updated June 2021: serviced at 21 months and 2000km. Replaced the brake pad assembly, tightened the spokes, general tune up. I really appreciate the attention to detail and the friendly service. Couldn't me happier.Update, June 10, 2020: I just had the trike in for a tune up after nine months and 900km. Same great service, same reasonable cost with everything up front and transparent. Buying this bike at this store was one of the smartest things I've ever done!)This was the best buying experience. Wonderful service, excellent trike. Thank you! Its been two weeks and I've used it everyday. Getting around - especially when hauling things - has been a dream.

I'm starting with the folding one few years ago and I have to say I'm in love with it. I really appreciated the great suggestion from the store owner, I finally found a best bike for myself.

I've got this mountain ebike a year ago, it's also my daily ride. I'm a tough rider and whenever I ride this one, it's making me feel more reliable and safer than others on the market now. I rarely review for a single product but I have to shout out for this Thunder bike and Richmond ebike crew. They've been so informative to my questions and with their endless support, they deserve a big kudos and 5* stars for them passion on what they are working. Highly recommend Richmond ebike. Richmond E Bike is run by the most amazing people who are friendly, helpful and greatly knowledgeable about all types of e bikes. I recently needed servicing and tire repair for my e bike that I did not purchase from them and they were so helpful and friendly and they did a great job with sprucing up my bike. Drove to Vancouver at the end of February and bought 2 Thunder Step-thru folding bikes which easily folded to fit two in the back of our VW Tiguan without having to lower the rear seats. Great service on delivery and the bikes have totally met our needs. Being over 70 years old, the step-thru design has made getting on and off very easy. We have now had the bikes for three months and have enjoyed riding the trails in the North Okanagan.The Okanagan Rail Trail between Kelowna and Vernon is a favourite ride on any section of the trail. The foreshore trail in Salmon Arm is also a great ride. The pictures are from our most recent ride near Kekuli Bay south of Vernon.Very happy with the design and quality of the bikes which were set up perfectly before delivery.L & K
