I asked for supervisor or manager for an immediate income support or even talking to her. Thejos said their policy they don’t let anyone to talk to her t’s so unprofessional he should not be working an income support place specially, when people need help he should learn how to talk to them or how to have good communication.front desk his name is Thejos .

They don’t pay enough to live off of and I’ve had to call them every month waiting on hold for HOURS because someone always messes up my file and I have to call to get my money released. Even the emergency assistance phone line no one picks up. It really shows how they do not care about helping those in need, it’s so frustrating and feels demeaning, especially when I’m out looking for a job everyday for hours and feel stuck because I can’t afford to pay for gas or transportation to get to places. They probably think it’s a joke and play “let’s see how long we can make them wait on the phone before they hang up”

Been denied support for dealing with a possible eviction...I'm a diabetic and I am probably going to be living on the streets. And they say they help people...load of....

Horrible phone system. Queue might as well not exist. You can be in it for over an hour and it'll suddenly say it's too busy and you should call back later. Or it'll just drop you without warning. Or the audio will cut out so you're unsure if the call is still active. Plus if you do call back later, it'll often say it's too busy and deny you from even getting in queue. I don't mind being in queue for four hours so long as I actually get to talk to someone!I've been attempting to get a hold of someone for four days under these conditions. I'm beyond livid. The only reason this isn't a 1-star review is because the staff are good when you can actually get a hold of them.

They need to change their name - Alberta Supports is wildly inaccurate. They don’t.My case worker told me I did not qualify for emergency funds as I did not have an eviction notice. I do, however, and told her about my court date. She told me to apply for regular benefits and bring everything I might need (quite the list).I arrived at the office as instructed and provided my documents. I was told I needed to have a job or an apartment that cost $350 to rent. Those would be tiny and rare - rooms rent for more.I was then told that I could not sleep there, it is not a homeless shelter.Twice, I was on the verge of tears - the humiliation and frustration of this wasted trip. I told them I am not homeless yet, but could be.The security guard was kind enough to give me bus fare - but overall, the trip in was a monumental waste of time and energy. They might be polite (until they have said no) but they do not care if you end up on the street - as long as you don’t bother them. They are a waste of government money and serve no purpose. The more help you need, the less they give. Until and unless they raise the rent arrears amount to something from this century, they cannot or will not assist you.Alberta Supports? No - it does not.

I'm going through a horror story with this poorly run gov funded organization.Complete run around.I had a worker hang up on me because I cried a little when she told me to apply for regular income support, as I was about to be homeless and leaving a terrible environment but because I had money the month before, I didn't meet criteria. She told me it would take a month. All the shelters are full, I had nowhere to go.And a month later I'm still fighting tooth and nail for help.I feel like anyone I know of who are NOT trying to get an actual job, and who are quite content living a life of addiction and poverty and homelessness etc...they all have funding and money and supports.Maybe that's what I'll have to do too. Can't beat em, join em.

The phone is always busy but the worker are good and know how to deal with peoples who are facing financially hardship like me . The money not enough I’m being forced to live with other peoples sharing apartment because I can’t afford rent alone. now my toddler is hyper and I’m thinking about getting my own place for privacy reason but I don’t think I can afford . I have many health issue, but I’m willing to look for work because I can’t live my life with 1200 a month that’s is very low life that you can ever imagine .I apply job many job with no calls or interview and I’m worry maybe I need help like some one to be my reference since I did not work for a while .

I just wish for the automated phone It more sense Especially for when you didn't receive your check and you're rent is late and you're trying to get hold of somebody at the office and you press for for the extension and instead of having you on hold and play music and and basically waiting in line it just says we are currently have high calls at the moment please call back again later." And that doesn't really help because I literally don't know when to call back I've been calling almost every minute every 5 to 10 minutes since 9 AM and it's now 3 o'clock and the line still not free so it would be really nice if they had an automated line system so you can actually wait and get to talk to someone eventually."

my funds have been delayed several times and they pay very little, my case worker ignored my calls (apparently they stopped assigning individual case workers with zero notice), and i even called the main number once only to deal with an extremely rude employee. if you don't call them first thing in the morning, chances are you won't be seeing them later that day. their phone hangs up on you and asks you to try again later when they're not too busy."funds delayed again even though i've done everything right

*NO SUCH THING AS EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE * Its been almost a year no help they get paid to watch me die they make sure you100% loss everything such as possession, pride, dignity, self respect etc... when I snap mentally which I'm already seeking help for who will be responsible for those I may hurt or my death or crimes I may commit. Right I will be responsible still but thats what they want so you go to jail they don't have to worry about you they still get paid no wonder people radicalize my next step is talking to a lawyer to see how many of my rights are being violated there's at least 3 i figure
