Chris is an awesome teacher and mentor. He is extremely creative when it comes to his teaching methods and instills some great humour. I highly recommend DrumEveryDay for anyone looking to learn how to play the drums, ukulele and piano.

My son has been taking drum lessons with Chris for a year and a half; the first 6 months in person, then we had to switch to remote lessons due to Covid. The experience has been 100% positive.We had tried piano lessons a couple of times in the past and it was challenging to find an instructor who clicked well with a preteen boy. From the start, Chris made drumming fun and engaging for our son, jumping right into well-known pieces of music rather than just repetitive exercises (though I understand both are essential in learning how to play any instrument). I have observed the lessons myself and have been very impressed with how well Chris balances encouragement and enthusiasm with constructive feedback and correction. He showed great patience with our son when he was struggling to master something or was fidgety during lessons. As a professional musician, drumming is Chris' full time job and it shows; he really knows his stuff! The variety in the material he teaches is impressive. He is also very well organized, punctual, and clearly communicated lesson dates/times, updates, etc. Invoicing and payments were handled professionally as well.I will say my son preferred the in-person lessons because then he got to play on acoustic drums, rather than the electronic drum set we have at home, but I'm thankful we have been able to continue remotely. I know that seeing Chris online every week has been a ray of sunshine for our son during lockdowns.I wholeheartedly recommend Chris to anyone looking for instruction in drumming!

Couldn't be happier with Chris as my son's teacher and I've recommended him to many other prospective students, children and even some interested parents as well.
