I had purchased a three stone diamond ring from Mappins, I went to T&Y Jewellers to get the ring resized, shortly after (a week) the engagement fell through so I ended up getting the ring appraised to sell. I was very shocked to find that one of the diamonds was replaced with a fake, directly after getting my ring resized at T&Y. I then called Mappins Jewellers where I found all the documents as to where the diamonds came from as well as their authenticity. Needless to say I would never go back to T&Y as I feel tricked and robbed.

I never leave reviews but had to go into get my ring cut off. The women was very pleasant the gentleman not so much. He was rude.... no patience and I felt like an inconvenience and I just said forgot it and went down the street where they did exactly what I asked at one third of the price.

Went in twice to get a battery changed in my watch. Was told the jeweller was busy. I’ll go elsewhere.

Took an 18 karat gold chain to be repaired. After I picked it up, and wore it, realized that it wasn't my chain as it was much lighter. It is probably an inferior gold quality. I feel so silly!

I brought in my wonderful gold chain to be cleaned and was hoping it’s lustre would return after they cleaned as it has when l’ve had it cleaned elsewhere but they ruined it. I commented on why it doesn’t lustre as before and they said they steamed cleaned it and ran it through a ultrasonic cleaner. I commented on its dullness and they didn’t do anything more.Also their prices are astronomically inflated for gold, diamond rings and pendants. Never will they get my business.I’m replying back to your reply that I was the Italian guy who bought an 18 karat gold chain a crucifix and a pendant. Then a week later I brought in my gold bracelet two or three rings I have them cleaned. When I got them back the lustre on my gold bracelet was dull as hell I’ve had them cleaned before with an amazing lustre finish but whatever chemicals you sprayed on this thing or ultrasonically it did not look shined at all.I’m very disappointed I’m sorry to say but this is the truth anyway suffice to say I will certainly not be returning to your store
