I've worked at Oly near a year, great people,great incentives,I've moved up a bit ,be honest with them they will be there for you,it's hard work but I enjoy working with all the new friends I've met along the way,,love weekend's off ,we have fun at work ,I respect this company alot.

I worked there it is infested with cockroaches they know and don't do anything about it. The cafeteria lady tries to hide it and gets mad at her employees for discussing it. Do not recommend.

That place is terrible for 16 a hour and union ??? The girl at Dairy Queen in high school serving milk shakes out the drive through makes more , sham sham on you , min 25 to start or nothing .

Discrimination, very poor management. You will never get any better position especially management one. Everything through connections etc. Slavery :(

Don’t go there for loadingThey will told you leave the trailerAnd they will easily take 24 hours to load

I am presently under quarantine and have friends buying groceries for me. They, unfortunately, supplied me with two packages of your bacon, if you can call it that!!! Could barely get 4 slices in a 10” pan and when it was cooked i could have put another three slices in the pan! What a friggin’ ripoff! You certainly don’t have to worry about me being a customer in the future. I try to buy Canadian, but not when I am being screwed!!!!!

Be Prepared to wait 48hours for your reefer to be loaded. So if you do not have enough driving hours and need a reset, that's the place to go.Receptionists were nice providing updates on load every time I phoned in; That's why I gave 2 stars.

Where do I even start! Place is not only disgusting, but working at this place just gives you a very uncomfortable feeling, not because of the environment, but because of the people you work with. There are a lot of discrimination, very disrespectful workers, not to mention, the management is downright horrible. Favouritism at this workplace is on top and for a person to work here, we’ll you’re just going to waste your time. Physical fights, name calling, disrespectful employees are so common in Olymel. That’s why this company is always hiring because no decent person lasts a week here. To this company you’re just a number not to mention the Union members are completely useless. There is absolutely no decency here. Avoid this place like a plague. Trust me.

Union are no use,it is just a waste of paying union fee,They are always on the company side,,Poor ManagementThey treated workers as a slave They always reduced people no matter how busy it is..

My gf works here.. After refusing to shut down due to a spike in covid cases they suddenly changed their mine and laid off the entire company. Company never applied for the 1200 essential worker support fund for their employees and gf tells me she can't apply for ei because the company hasn't sent in the paperwork for it yet. The union is fighting for the 1200 support from government and pay for the time off, but not expecting anything because the union is also useless. Why employees are forced to pay for union that gets nothing done is mind bogging.
