As a chief steward of Unifor union I recommend renting the upstairs for all of our meeting until the last meeting after we were fineshed I was leaving I saw one of my friends from the Scottish Rite outside smoking he asked me to go in for a drink I am a member of the her Majesty army and navy so we bought our drinks he got a. Phone call he had to go home It was emergency I was trying to finish my beer and go home when the barkeep came over took my beer and told me I am not a member I have to leave took my beer dumped It in the sink I threw a toonie on the bar and said this is your tip never went back me and my wife for Friday's fish and chips never rented The hall for Unifor union meetings bad barkeep left bad taste in my mouth

This is a great safe place to hang out, shoot some pool and make new friends. It is membership only, but the price is low and it enables the ability to weed out shady characters from the establishment. I don't know how I got in!Jokes aside, you are also supporting our veterans with the membership. This is originally where they came to parlay as a club, and the tradition is now extended to the public if they want to join such a great club.

Great place nice people. Enjoy fish and chips for a great price wkly every Friday evening,stay for dancing and karaoke. Different activities, darts,pool,plus..through out week with special events Saturday and Sunday. Or book your own party.

I've been here numerous times for small to medium sized gatherings and have had a great time using the facilities they provide. The upstairs venue is spacious, with a splitter down the middle. This allows for separate quiet and loud spaces for people with different volume preferences. The isolation between the two sides is quite good with the divider in place. The kitchen facilities are excellent. The bar prices are a little bit high, but they are not outrageous. The elevator, despite having a certificate of safety, feels very janky and unsafe. Definitely take the stairs up if you're physically able.

The hall is spacious and the drinks are a good price. It's definitely an older venue and looks it but the price is good. Great place to have a stag and doe or private party.

You don't need to be a member to enjoy the Friday evening fish fry and karaoke or the dance on Saturday night. Prices are reasonable and the people are a very friendly crowd. Hall is also available for special occasions and there is an elevator for easy access to upper floor.

This place is fun but more importantly the staff, on the day I went, especially the lady behind the counter, was absolutely wonderful and I appreciate it so much. Nothing but good things to say about this place! Thank you so much.
