I was a lost cause before Alliance took me on as a patient 5 years ago! I've been sober on the methadone maitenance program for 4 and a half years now. Everyone loves me and my 2 year old son and he is so welcomed when we come there every few months. Thankyou for all that you do!! ❤

This place is awesome the doctors are amazing I can't say enough how this place has changed my life for the better. The wait isn't usually too long rarely u wait long times. Staff is amazing too the one blonde staff short blonde hair skinny does not have patience for people I don't think she likes her job but other then that everyone there is amazing. Cant say enough great things about Dr.porter she is so caring and kind I couldn't ask for a better doctor. Thanks alliance!!!!!

An actual medical clinic with professionals who care. From the staff up front, to the counselors, to the Dr.s the professionalism & caring of the patients comes thru.Keep in mind Alliance is not a normal medical walk-in clinic, but a substance abuse rehabilitation clinic that by default of our failing medical system has become not only mine, but so many others medical clinic. Take my Dr. who started as an addictions MD, because of our failing medical system that has really been run by the pharmaceutical companies has become the most knowledgeable doctor I know about managing chronic pain of his patients. Until I met him, no doctor could explain or even knew how the pain meds I have been prescribed for 30 years work.As a disabled pensioner who found the clinic from a doctor thru a stay at the Royal Columbian after a near death car accident, it is the greatest find in the failing medical system of BC I've had in decades. Before attending the clinic every couple weeks, I would get severe anxiety attacks having to play the BS game every time I'd have to see my GP every month in order to get the medical treatment and medical prescriptions that worked for me. At Alliance i feel comfortable and not persecuted that I can be honest with the doctors with everything that is bothering me, and with an in-clinic counselor who talks with the doctors about the patients' file, the patient can feel comfortable to confide in them to get help and learn and/try new coping skills other than more drugs, which is probably the reason most patients these days have found their way there.It really shows the benefit having an in-clinic couselor, but unfortunately, the clinic is private and is why no other clinics I know of has the resources Alliance can offer; but it should be the example of how medical clinics should operated.
