Our daughter has enjoyed riding with RJR for 2 years. Beautiful property and horses that are well loved and trained so well. Kelly and her crew are amazing at what they do and their main priority is the safety of their riders. Highly recommended.

Coming to Rusty Jade Ranch is like coming home. It's like being part of the family.I first met Kelly a few years ago, looking for a place offering a holistic experience, focused on building riding skills while truly respecting the animal and human-animal communication aspect of riding. I was tired of the performance aspect and money focused aspect in many current riding facilities and wanted to build riding skills and a genuine connection. I found that and more at Rusty Jade Ranch. Kelly is the original owner and creator of the facility, and with her partner Brad they have nurtured it not only into a superb riding school (they are both GREAT teachers!!!), but also a part of the community and a self-sustaining operation: they have added chickens, cows, various seasonal vegetables ... they have events, camps for kids, activities ... they even have retreat cabins for a weekend getaway.The property adjoins miles and miles of crown land/forest that is just unparalleled for trail riding, which is part of the Rusty Jade experience once the season starts where you can go out. This is one of my favourite things to do via the ranch.Not only can you enjoy the scenery, the extended time on the horse is great physical activity. I have always felt skilled enough and safe enough as we go out in groups and Kelly or Kelly's team is always on hand to guide through anything you might encounter on the trail. Many facilities do walking trails just for the money and it just isn't the same. When you build enough skill where you're safe to go out on a trail at Rusty Jade, you're in control of the ride and your horse, not mindlessly following along a pre-beaten boring path. It's just wonderful and not available at most places these days. You can even do a 6-hour day riding trip into town to have lunch. My daughter had her first lesson last night. She learned how to groom and tackle her horse. Her teacher Jody was so patient and kind with her. Everyone was so nice! We love the family feel at this ranch. My daughter loved her first lesson and can’t wait for next week!

We were lucky enough to find Rusty Jade two years ago. My daughters has special needs - So many places either won't allow her to ride, or treat her like an invalid. Not Kelly! At Rusty Jade my daughter is a student, a rider, and is welcome and included. Now we both ride here every week, and my own special need (stressed out city person) gets the best therapy: Time - with great horses, and great people. The horses at Rusty Jade are well cared for, well trained, and no where near the push kick" horses you sometimes encounter. This is a class act place

I love Rusty Jade Ranch! Everyone who works here is so great and super passionate about their community and their animals. If you're interested in learning how to ride, Coach Kelly is the best! We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the cabin, and their live music night was a blast. Will be back!

I love everything about RJR. From their staff (that has now become my family), their horses and the amazing environment in which they have created to their beautiful (and very well cared for) horses and even their location.They offer year-round western lessons for every age and experience level, as well as vaulting. They are always finding new ways to make things fun and exciting including live music nights, Easter egg hunts, kids camps and more.

Ranch is wonderful! Everyone who works at Rusty Jade’s are great! GrWonderful place for kids to learn about horses from beginning to end. How to clean and take care of the horse and not just riding them.

After 40 years of riding hunters, jumpers and eventing, showing in everything from schooling shows to A circuit, I quit. Riding was no longer fun.Then a couple years ago I had the opportunity to tour Rusty Jade Ranch and after only a few minutes with Kelly, I knew this place was different and I wanted to be there.“Take time” is their motto, their philosophy and it shows in everything they do. Their love for the land, the animals on it and for what they do is apparent from the moment you turn onto the property. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.Their fun, relaxed approach to lessons and learning is a breath of fresh air and I’ve enjoyed being back in the saddle.Thank you Kelly, Andi, Brad and Rusty Jade Ranch.

Went for a trail ride and it was amazing. The trails were great, everyone was very friendly and made it very joyful. For the cost and what you get out of it, it's a perfect thing to do on a weekend. Will 110% be going back
