I had a wonderful experience with Downriver Glass Block! They were great to work with over the phone and had amazing customer service! When my installation day came, one of the guys in my crew called in sick. So they had another crew come at the end of the day to fill in and they were so nice and did a great job! Very accommodating. I would highly recommend this company.

Called 3 Downriver glass block installers and only 2 showed up to quote. One of the other" companies sent a guy over who was so drunk he fell out of his truck onto my lawn. Downriver Glass Block came out next day and the salesman didn't try to oversell me anything

The company did a great job on our basement windows! They look amazing, were reasonably priced and did the work in a little over an hour. My only complaint is that one of the installers, climbed on top of our clothes dryer to get to the window and dented the top of the dryer.

OMG I just couldn't not submit this review. The installer were fabulous. They were professional. One of the windows being installed was for the garage. The installer suggestion that the window be installed from the inside to avoid damaging the aluminum wrap arounds. I was grateful for his suggestion. The job looks great. They were in and out in 1 hour and 1/2. I have already recommended this company to several other people that I know. Thanks.

Best place for DIYers to purchase pre-assembled glass block windows. If you would rather support your good ol neighborhood mom and pop business, this is the place to go. Very helpful and willing to answer all your questions. Forget about Home Depot and Lowe's.

DGBlock did such a professional job! From the initial phone call to the installation.*Initial Call*Julie and Ashley were very kind and professional. I was that annoying customer who kept modifying what I wanted done. They were very patient with me over the phone.*Quote* Eric was out within a couple days of my phone call. He was very customer service friendly and answered the many questions I had for him.I had 5 quotes from various glass block companies and DGBlock was the most reasonable. Some companies use silicone and some use mortar to set the windows. DGBlock uses my preferred mortar.*Installation* Mike was professional both in customer interaction and in his work. The window of arrival time was between 9am to 11am. Mike arrived at 9:52 and began work at 10:00. He removed 6 original windows that were 66 years old along with one tricky milk chute. He was a one man show that took about 4 hours for removal and installation. You can tell he takes much pride in his work as the installation was meticulous. He did such a clean job with the mortar. Once the windows were installed, he also cleaned up any mess he left which included a drop cloth he draped over the sink/toilet in the basement bathroom.Take all three above components from this company and you have yourself a 5-star rating. I had a great experience and would highly recommend DGBlock.

On time, professional, and very clean work. The entire process was professional from setting the appointment to the day of installation, and they came out when they said they would. Love the results. Would highly recommend for anyone who needs basement window replacement!
