Whistle Bear Golf Club

We got married at Whistle Bear on December 10, 2022 and we couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. Lauren, Julia and the entire Whistle Bear team helped plan, organize and execute our big day. The decor was everything we imagined and more. The ceremony and reception rooms looked absolutely stunning and seeing them for the first time nearly brought tears to my eyes. On top of that, the entire day was flawless. Everything ran on schedule, nothing went wrong as far as we're aware and we have had nothing but positive feedback from our guests. The food was incredible and the bartenders were amazing.Julia was the best maitre d' that anyone could ever ask for. She went above and beyond and was extremely attentive to us and anything we could've possibly needed. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The day was absolutely PERFECT.Lauren also went above and beyond to accommodate every silly question or request that we had and we, again, couldn't have asked for anything more from her.The entire Whistle Bear team did the absolute best job on our wedding day. Everything was phenomenal and we can't even begin to thank them enough. We are forever grateful to them for all the love and effort that was poured into our special day.

A lovely venue for weddings. Great views from their halls. Love doing cold sparklers there, it's just too bad that they don't allow dry ice, as it would make many couples very happy making their first dance extra memorable! Still a great venue.

This venue is second to none; from the food, to the grounds, and finally to the staff…our wedding day was a dream! We are forever grateful to everyone who participated in giving us and our guests a beautiful experience on the day itself.We have no regrets about choosing Whistle Bear Golf Club and we hope to return for a round on our anniversary;) haha

As a Peale Weddings and Events recommended vendor we get the opportunity to shoot at their amazing venues on a regular basis and we absolutely love shooting at Whistle Bear. The venue is absolutely stunning and the staff are always professional, courteous, friendly and accommodating. Everything is so well organized and it is an absolute pleasure to work with them. As a photographer, we are able to capture some truly beautiful moments for the couple thanks to the wonderful backdrop provided by the venue. The day could not have gone any better, their staff was so kind and helpful, and it felt like any issues (because something always goes wrong at a wedding) were solved quickly and discreetly.Our entire planning process with Whistle Bear was streamlined and straightforward, which as a stressed out bride, I really needed. We worked with Lauren C, who was absolutely lovely.Now, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the food. It was PHENOMENAL! We are still talking about how good it was and will definitely be going back for more.Thank you Whistle Bear for everything!

We got married at Whistle Bear in May 2023, and we HIGHLY recommend hosting your special day there! Our wedding was perfect, the day went seamlessly, and exceeded our wildest dreams! Whistle Bear has so much experience hosting weddings, and it shows. From start to finish, our entire experience was incredible! We explored a few other venues, and Whistle Bear was the only venue that made us feel like we were a top priority. They continued to do so throughout the entire process of planning, and even more so on the day of the wedding! The love and hospitality we felt from everyone we worked with was unmatched!Our planning consultant was Lauren C leading up to the big day, and she was absolutely amazing! Informative, quick to respond, accommodating to our wants and needs, the list goes on and on. Wedding planning can be very stressful, but Lauren made it SO easy. She was always two steps ahead, very organized, and she truly made planning a breeze!On the day of our wedding we worked with Julia, and we are beyond happy with our experience! She has an outstanding personality, she was so thoughtful, and ensured our entire day was perfect! There was not a single moment we had to worry about our schedule or timeline, Julia was on top of it! From the time we got to the venue, down to the second we left, she looked after everything, which was beyond helpful, as it allowed us to embrace each moment of our wedding!We received numerous compliments on the waitstaff and food! Our guests voiced that their experience was top notch, several guests mentioned it was the best meal they have ever had at a wedding! Kevin did a fantastic job coordinating our dinner! He made sure all our guests were looked after, and all the courses came out in a timely manner!The venue and grounds are absolutely stunning, all our photos and videos are breathtaking! All our guests expressed to us how beautiful the entire day was! Every detail of our wedding day was perfect, we can't say enough good things!

My home course. I’m biased because of my connection with the ownership and management of this great track. It’s challenging but fair. Always in great shape. Food is top rate. Great wedding venue. Bring your A game and enjoy the ride.

We recently had our wedding at Whistle Bear Golf Club in the Rose Room. The venue was very accommodating with all the COVID changes. Our consultant, Leah, was excellent throughout the entire planning process and very patiently answered all of our many questions. The staff went above and beyond to help bring our wedding vision to life and make the day special. Our team on the wedding day was very professional and did a great job. The food was delicious! The venue was absolutely gorgeous! We loved the garden chapel for our ceremony as it was a reliable location regardless of weather. The Rose Room is absolutely stunning and definitely worth seeing in person. Unfortunately it rained and stormed for the entire time we were on site at Whistle Bear and we didn't find there to be many great photo options inside. If the weather is nice, the photo locations outside are spectacular, which the venue allowed us to enjoy on a different date.

Spectacular location,Great dinner,Solid management. My only critique is that 1/2 the waitstaff was a bit young/inexperienced but still acceptable. Also important that it is connected to the Ancaster old mill.
