Excellent nigiri from a very large menu. My partner enjoyed her chicken udon too. Not very busy for a Wednesday lunchtime. Service was prompt and friendly. This restaurant is well located for us - the bank and the dentist are close by. But we had not been here before - something that will now change

Almost didn't go in, but I'm glad we did. Moderately priced sushi place with a great selection of items. The deep fried squid was very good, and the fish tasted fresh. The sunomono however was lacking in the signature sweet/sour taste. The lighting was less than optimal for food photography but we made do with what we had. This place is very tucked away if you don't have google maps out but worth seeking out.

Hello Restaurant owner,Your server DOJA need some training and coaching I was in the restaurant with my colleague for lunch and I am a regular customer at this restaurant which is like 1 min away from my work place. I liked this pace nice restaurant great service and etc. Yesterday I was in and the service was a bit slow and the server gave me wrong information I order vegetable set and the soup which come with it is not vegetarian which I have confirmed with the chef and server said its vegetarian which is not the correct information. After I paid the bill I dint included the tip when I was leaving the server confronted me in front of my colleague that why you dint paid the tip ? I was shocked how dare the server asking me this question giving tip is my choice if I dont like the service I dont pay tip. I am never going back to this place ever Vancouver is blessed with AWESOME sushi restaurant every 4 blocks. DOJA GET SOME TRAINING BUDDY. Just came out from it after waiting 45 min for all cold food. Never came.Table of 6 next to us came after us. They reserved, so that's fine. I can understand if the hot food and all comes first for them.But 45 minutes after a sushi roll goes comes for them. Nothing for us. Not even wasabi or more tea.COMPLETE AMATEURS for this sushi location. I will never ever come back to give my money to a business like this. Wasted 45 minutes of my time.

I’ve come here many times now and I’m starting to explore more of the menu items.My sons love to eat the prawn tempuras with the chicken fried rice or Oyako-donburi.My wife and I love the Uni with salmon roe on rice but I also love the chirashi and tuna don. The additional pickled items, sliced egg and seaweed add a little flair to the dishes.Whenever we’re in the area and can’t decide what to eat we come here. It’s very accommodating to our young kids and I can catch up on sports with the projection TV set up here.

Tried Japanese food for the first time in December. It was an amazing experience. Staff were really nice. Ambience was good, it was very cozy for the winter rainy evening. I’d definitely come back.

A small Japanese restaurant in Kerrisdale. The staff are friendly and the fish seems fairly fresh. The food tasted good, but I thought the portions were a little on the small side. Both my friend and I had to order more after we ate, because we weren't satisfied, and after that we went elsewhere to grab dessert since we weren't full. Given the portion sizes, I thought the price was a bit expensive.

Decent pricing for okay sushi. Sashimi was pretty fresh.However they seated me on the smallest table possible so our plates barely fit the table. When I asked them about moving us to a bigger table they said it wasn't possible.... The restaurant was empty with no other table.... 20mins later a total of 2 other tables came in and even then they could've tried to seat us at a better spot. After we finished our food they were hounding us to pay the bill and leave.Not likely to come back as its average food with not so great service.
