The Wine Room
Has a wine cellar look, mood set lighting and a cozy feel with intimate booths with privacy. The menu is over complicated on an i pad.Would be great to order your items on the i pad instead of giving the order to a server. Extensive wine list however, when we asked for another bottle of the same wine they did not have it in the cellar. The Charcuterie board was great, lots of variety! I’d suggest the warm sausages on your board.

The Wine Room is absolutely incredible!! The ambience is amazing! It is reminiscent of an Italian wine cellar! My husband and I can’t say enough about the wine, the food and the service! Let’s start with how unusual it is to experience excellence in all three areas when dining out today!The selection of wine is exceptional! They are unique wines from outstanding regions around the world, the wines are always fresh and served at optimum temperatures. The small plates and charcuterie boards are hands down the best we’ve ever had and the service is always welcoming, friendly and professional!!If you’ve not yet tried the Wine Room in Edmonton it really is a wonderful experience! Such a hidden gem in the city!!

What a fantastic experience. The charcuterie is hands down the best I've ever had. So many flavors and richness. The atmosphere here is very intimate and cozy. The booths are very private and make you feel like you are in a different place altogether.

Mona and Tanelle were soo knowledgeable and really made the experience what it was…AMAZING!! The wine selection was impressively extensive to fit all occasions (pictures of our 2 favourite from the evening are included). The charcuterie board was soo fresh with unique cheeses, fruit, nuts, chocolate, bread, crackers, figs and sooo much more. The ambiance was 2nd to none, I felt like It was an escape to a swanky hidden gem from NYC.

First time visiting the Wine Room last weekend, beautiful ambience with candles lit everywhere. Our server was very patient with us and answered all of our questions with great knowledge. He made some great recommendations as well. We shared a meat and cheese board which was delicious and the wine was even more so. The restaurant is quite small so I'm glad we made reservations as it did get full.

Stopped by for a bottle of wine and some charcuterie the other night. Mona has an amazing establishment and she is incredibly hospitable. A very impressive wine list as well as the charcuterie and cheese selection. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting.100% recommend if you are ever in Edmonton!

The Wine room remains as one of the few beautiful independent Treasures in Downtown Edmonton. We were three last night relaxing in the gorgeously decorated space, enjoying a superb wine. The Owner, who has always been so kind and lovely throughout the years of going, made us her signature Charcuterie Cheese Board. When it arrives, it always looks like a piece of Art, almost too beautiful to eat! It had a very generous and amazing assortment of Cheeses and was decorated with a collection of fresh fruit, and various crackers of sorts, and tiny chocolates. If you are the type that enjoys going somewhere that isn't littered with TV screens throughout, and supporting Independent Edmonton Businesses is important to you, make the effort and go! At The Wine Room, you won't have that Chain Style loud atmosphere feeling. You also won't have a Server at the end, who's been trained to ask the now redundant, predictable and annoying question (usually as you pay the bill) What are you up to for the rest of the evening?" Great experience. Had a wonderful couple of times here now. Truly a romantic experience as the booths are comfortable and somewhat private. Lighting is dim and sounds do not carry. A great intimate place to share with someone special. The wood ceiling gives the impression that you are in a barrel. With it's gentle curves. The wine is varied and tasty. Selection is great. Charcuterie board is a wonderful tasty experience to share. Best I have ever had.

The Wine Room is truly one of Edmonton's hidden gems. Great wine menu and interesting choice of small plates and charcuterie.This is a must-visit for tourists and the perfect place for intimate conversations.
