Central Oshawa Animal Hospital

I brought my cat Danika there a few times in the last 6 months or so and their service, attitude and especially prices are the best I've found in and around Oshawa.This is the only vet I'll look to in the future for my furr buddies health.Thank you Dr Grewal and other staff at Central Oshawa Animal Hospital!

Our dogs Bentley and Riot have been clients there for a few years. Dr. Grewal and the staff have always been very kind and gentle with them. This past Saturday, Dr. Grewal and Shania came to our home to help Bentley cross the Rainbow Bridge and afterwards he said a special prayer for his transition. I can't say enough about their kindness and compassion ... and I'll never forget it. Thank you so much ❤️ ❤️

I'd like to first say. #1 the vet here is compassionate, caring and NOT at all about the money. I saw some reviews that almost made me second guess coming here. But I decided that I need to see for myself. Our cat was on the verge of dying. She is like a child to us. The doctor showed us every step he was taking in action to our Tooty, she needed pyometra surgery, and a spay. He took time to show us xrays, and was a delight to speak to. He is knowledgeable, and courteous. The cost was 1,000 cheaper than anywhere else. I dont know about saying hes about money. He is running a business, and people dont work for free. I know if we didnt have all the money they would work something out with us. Professional, kind. I recommend this vet to anyone. The ladies at the front desk are warm, and inviting. My baby girl is recovering quickly. All thanks to this vet. We get the gift of her life. And I cant be thankful enough for them saving her life... 10 stars. 100 stars. 1 000 thank you.

Refused to give a refill of my dogs common pain meds without an exam fee even thou I was told to just call when I needed a refill.The receptionist also said they hadn’t seen us in a year, even thou when the prescription was placed in September. And it’s only april. Much less time than a year. Someone can’t math. And I said this and was hung up on.basically my hands are tied as they hold my dogs info and latest blood work which will force me to pay again somewhere do a re exam and get his meds else where because I will NOT be back to this vet just based on how I was talked to on the phone.I was lied to about dates and hung up on for contesting their decision to not refill my dogs meds because it’s been a few months of him not needing them.Avoid this place unless you want ignorance rubbed in your face.

Said goodbye to my dog today of 12 years. Yesterday was told $300, today was told it was actually $650. no explanation. They didn’t give her sedation, because they “did the wrong injection” first.despite my mother screaming at them to stop. they watched her struggle to breathe for 15 minutes. he flicked her eye and used his foot to check if she was still breathing before pronouncing her dead and leaving. incredibly traumatizing experience. DOMT GO HERE!!!*COMMENT REVIEW*they had the audacity to reply and say i was never a client:) i have a different last name. but bold of you to assume. I have now multiple horror stories from my peers about to hospital and a response from an ex employee. you will be hearing from me soon. don’t worry

Central Oshawa Animal Hospital is an amazing clinic. I have gone their with both of my pets and the staff is super friendly. They are always very thorough and ensure to explain all things to help the me understand what and why certain things are needed. Not only do they have the best pricing I've even seen but they are always available during their open hours unlike other clinics that are constantly booked. I highly recommend this clinic. ❤️

Highly recommend this clinic! I've been going there for the past 3 years with my dog and couldn't be happier with the care and level of service we receive. Dr. Grewal is super knowledgeable and has patience and such a sweet temperament with my girl - she can be very wiggly during a checkup. Their fees are very competitive and the front desk staff and assistants are extremely nice.

The staff is really nice! And the best prices in town! This is the new place that I choose to take care of my Little Fluffy!

I wish I could give 0 stars. This vet initially told us not to let our suddenly-ill dog suffer, and suggested putting her to sleep. We thought he was looking out for us and being honest, but after seeing how he treats animals in their final moments, I think he wanted to take the easy route and not provide proper treatment. Other reviews seem to say the same thing: offering an antibiotic to shoo them away just for their beloved pets to pass. Absolutely traumatizing experience. Losing a family member is hard enough, but to make the final moments that much more painful is just cruel. Have some compassion! He treated our dog like absolute garbage (flicking her eye, using his foot to check if she's breathing, and it gets worse). Our loving dog did not deserve to be treated so poorly, and deserved so much better than this. Please do not go here.And before the owner responds with you are not on file
