Absolutely amazing!! We are so happy we chose Gold House Studios to capture our wedding day! Mikayla and Nathaniel kept thing organized by providing a questionnaire for us to fill out to make sure the day ran smoothly and moments we wanted were captured. We had so much fun with them! They are rays of sunshine! They provided beautiful sneak peaks within 24 hours after the wedding! We received 100’s of high quality photos and their gallery is very user friendly! I have been receiving numerous compliments on the pictures they took. You will be pleased with their professionalism, punctuality, and enthusiasm!

We were referred to Gold House Studios from a friend for our wedding photography and from first look at their Instagram page, we were extremely impressed. Mikayla was extremely communicative from the beginning, scheduling a call to answer all of our questions and getting to know one another before formally booking. She and her husband/partner Nathaniel are two of the friendliest, kindest, funniest and not to mention extremely talented people we have ever met! They both have a special way of making you feel so comfortable - like you are hanging out with your friends - which allows them to achieve spectacular photos. They shot both our engagement and wedding day photos, both sets which turned out beyond our expectations. The photos are creative, beautiful, and visually interesting while at the same time, genuine to us as a couple. The guests at our wedding commented how much they enjoyed having Mikayla and Nathaniel around; they truly fit right in and I couldn't imagine the day without them. I cannot recommened Mikayla and Nathaniel from Gold House Studios enough! Not only are they so incredibly talented, they are amazing to work with and so much fun! They shot both our engagement session and New Year's Eve wedding. Our engagement photos turned out beautifully and I knew once I saw those photos that we were in good hands for our wedding. For our NYE wedding, we booked them longer so they could stay right till the midnight countdown. Let me tell you, it was so worth it and I am so glad they were with us for that long. We got sneak peaks the next day which was absolutely amazing. It's so fun to see photos from your wedding so soon after! Can't wait to see the rest of them!

We have Gold House Studios booked for our wedding this Spring and to say we are excited is an understatement. My fiancé and I were both very nervous about taking pictures, to the point we suggested not doing an engagement shoot and I am so happy Mikayla convinced us otherwise. We had the best time at our engagement shoot and she made us feel so comfortable. Not only are the pictures AMAZING but we feel so much more comfortable thinking about photos on our wedding day.Mikayla has also made the planning process so easy, she sends helpful tips and questionnaires that really guide you through the process of planning timelines and family pics. She basically lays it all out for you but then is also there to answer a million questions if you have them (trust me I ask her questions all teh time!). I could not recommend Gold House enough and cannot wait to see how the wedding pictures turn out!

My partner and I have nothing but amazing things to say about Gold House Studios! We were especially nervous before we had our engagement photos taken in summer 2020 because it was our first time having professional photos done. Mikayla was extremely patient and wonderful helping us prepare our outfits, pick the location, and settle our nerves leading up to the day. We usually feel like goofy and awkward people, but the photos turned out so beautiful and flattering and we were surprised at how much FUN we had. The experience was amazing and relaxed, and she made us feel super comfortable throughout the entire process. We LOVED how the photos turned out so much that since we have done three additional sessions for different occasions (holiday card, elopement, etc.).When we first met Mikayla, she said you should enjoy the company of the person you choose as your wedding photographer because they spend the majority of your big day with you. Needless to say, her and Nathaniel feel like lifelong friends and choosing them for our photo needs might be the easiest decision we made throughout our wedding planning process. We can't wait to have them shoot our wedding this November!

I’ve been following Gold House Studio for about a year and a bit. I found their Instagram profile through the pandemic and instantly fell in love with their photos! The lead photographer Mikayla and I started chatting back and forth through Instagram stories and DM’s and instantly hit off - we became friends and when I started to tell Mikayla about mine and my husbands anniversary and about an idea to take photos in the place we met, she instantly came forward and wanted to help us make that happen! She was amazing through the entire process of picking a date and vision that worked for us both, right down to her quick editing and turnaround when our gallery was ready!She made us feel comfortable and we had so much fun taking these photos and now we have such a unique memory to commemorate our first wedding anniversary unlike any other memory! UPDATE: We continue to be blown away by the Gold House Studios team following our October wedding. Mikayla, Nathan, and Courtney were all involved in the coverage of our wedding and did so flawlessly. Not only did Mikayla and Nathan wrangle a 20-person wedding party with ease, every single photo looks effortless and so full of love. All of the candid photos are just as amazing as our posed ones, and every element of the day was captured perfectly, from getting ready to the very last dance floor moments. It was an absolute privilege to have GHS cover every moment of our day, and we sincerely hope the team knows the joy and happiness their photography brings to their clients, when you get to relive the best moments over and over again.*****Mikayla took our Summer engagement photos, and they absolutely took our breath away. She took two relatively awkward humans and made us feel so comfortable, look not awkward, and so lovely. We are so fortunate and elated to have found and hired GoldHouse Studios (GHS) as our wedding photographers. I had initially found GHS on Instagram after seeing them tagged by another one of our wedding vendors and reached out through their website contact form. From there, I had an initial phone call with the lead photographer, Mikayla, to see if we would be a good match — she was instantly so warm, informative, and personable from that first call and I loved that she shared a full wedding gallery with us prior to even asking so that we could really get a sense of their work throughout an entire wedding day and reception (besides just the highlights and snippets you typically see on an IG feed). They had even shared a gallery that was shot at our same venue so we could see how it would look for our own day.We also had our engagement photos done by Mikayla October 2022, and they came out fantastic. It was so hard to pick favourites! This engagement session was key in getting us comfortable in front of the camera as we have never had a professional photoshoot done before. Mikayla was so easy to get along with and her energy is so warm and inviting— it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend the entire time. We also received our photos so quickly after the engagement shoot which was a pleasant surprise!Now to the wedding day (June 2023) — what a delight it was to have both Mikayla and Nathaniel together to shoot our wedding. We loved having 2 photographers because we know they’ve captured so many different angles and view points of our day that we cannot wait to see. They were also so fun to work with and we loved their playful banter. They also did a great job wrangling together our friends and family for some group photos after our ceremony (which wasn’t easy, lol!), and they were able to get through our list super efficiently so we could enjoy the majority of our cocktail hour which was important for us. We received our sneak peeks less than 24 hours later and we are stunned with how beautiful the photos are and capture our essence as a couple.
