Called prior to coming to see if we would need a reservation, they told us that we could simply come and there would be no problem. After driving half an hour (with the insane gaz prices) to get there, we are told we cannot stay because they have an event on that day. When asked why this was not mentioned when we called, they said it might have been the other location picking up the phone. Weird that each location does not have its dedicated line - but even weirder that they don't communicate with each other to avoid circumstances like this. The owner offered to give me a day pass or something to make up for the inconvenience, if I could provide him with an email that he could send that to. But he walked away before even getting my email. And the employee who ended up taking it either didn't care or never gave it to him, because it is now 2 weeks later and I have not received anything. Definitely didn't feel cared for - felt like we were just an extra inconvenience for the night. Never felt like that at Anticafe! Guess we'll be sticking to this place now.

Best entertainment place in the entire Montreal, Quebec. I would definitely stay to live their. Everything you need is under one roof, cafe (food), bar, stylish atmosphere, chess tournament or just an opportunity to start playing chess, live music, instruments. The owners are from extreme cultural mixture that makes the place very unique.
