Stoneridge Farm
I came from a dressage background and wanted to start riding again after having kids but also wanted the challenge of a new discipline. I was lucky enough to find Stoneridge Farm with Tim and Lisa Stanton and I'm hooked! Tim and Lisa are so patient, positive and are really supportive of their students and clients. I've learned so much and have greatly improved my position & become a much more relaxed rider ... most importantly I have fun every time I'm there!

Stoneridge Farm
I have ridden at many barns, in several disciplines, and can honestly say that I am having the most fun learning to rein under Tim Stanton! Tim and Lisa are excellent coaches who are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and easy-going. Each horse in the lesson program is safe as well as talented, most being retired competitors. The environment is welcoming, supportive, and a lot of laughs are shared, not to mention the beautiful setting of the farm. If you are like me, and want to keep horses in your life, and learn a new and exciting discipline, then Stone Ridge is worth checking out!

Stoneridge Farm
Stoneridge Farm is a great place to go for western riding lessons. I can not say enough good things about Tim and Lisa Stanton. Here you will find excellent school horses and coaches for the beginner as well as the more advanced rider. After you learn the basics and improve your horse knowledge and riding skills you can progress to Reining. Let me tell you that once you sit on a horse that can spin and slide you will be hooked! Give them a call. I know you will be happy you did.

Stoneridge Farm
I have been riding with Tim and Lisa for a number of years. I started learning western pleasure, coached by Lisa and then moved to reining, coached by Tim. If you are thinking of riding or have a young one who is in love with horses and wants to pursue their dream this is the place to be. The Stoneridge family is very welcoming, the horses are safe and well trained and Tim and Lisa are excellent coaches. I am now in my 60's and with their help, purchased my first horse and fulfilled a life long dream!

Stoneridge Farm
I have been at Stoneridge Farm for over 25 years and have enjoyed every minute I have been there. The lesson program that both Tim and Lisa provide is the best I have ever experienced. The riders they produce for both reining and pleasure riding are exceptional, successful and become very knowledgeable about what they are doing. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is interested in riding, be it for fun, or as a step toward showing horses.

I’ve been riding at Stoneridge for several years now. I started with Lisa doing western pleasure, recently moving to reining lessons with Tim. Both Tim and Lisa are patient and supportive coaches. The lessons are enjoyable and the atmosphere is friendly. The Stanton family is welcoming and the property has a great indoor, and a large outdoor riding area. They are experts at what they do, and genuinely care about people and horses. If you’re interested in pleasure or reining, I recommend checking them out!

Stoneridge Farm
I started with Stoneridge with 0 knowledge or experience on a horse. I'm a very tough student- but the Stoneridge team have been absolutely incredible with me. One thing that really stands out to me is that they are always ensuring I am learning everything 100% correctly. There are no shortcuts and I feel extremely confident even with my limited experience. I do not want to go anywhere else. Bug thanks to the Stoneridge team! I haven't had this much fun in a very long time.

Stoneridge Farm
Amazing barn for lessons in general western and reining. The owners Tim & Lisa are fantastic and everyone is super friendly. Great for getting back into riding as an adult (or just getting started). All the horses used in lessons are completely safe and they can accommodate people that need to build their confidence as well as advanced students.
