Peelers Potatoes

Never heard of this truck until a friend recommended and am glad she did. Friendly staff. Parking lot at 200 Sackville is easy to access & park. Great prices (and they take debit). The $5 fries portion is huge, they are cut well, cooked to perfection (not too brown), served without salt, so you can control if/how much you want to add. Delicious. The basic hot dog with steamed bun is simple and exactly the way like mine. I don't live in Sackville, but would definitely go back some summer evening when out for a drive...like to try the fish & chips.

Great fish and chips. Many customers come from other areas to enjoy their fish and chips. It’s decent portion for a decent price. You can ask about their offers if you have a big family or may be more valuable for you to buy the 2 meals offer which is plentiful.They take cash, credit and debit cards

Some of the best fish and chips you'll find in the Halifax Dartmouth Lower Sackville area if not the best. And the onion rings are fantastic! The owners are very friendly and if need be you can call ahead with an order.

Finally - a fish and chips spot that serves up quality food! My husband was born and raised in England, so to find a place he enjoys has been nearly impossible. We were both blown away at how good our fish was from here. Better from a food truck than most of the expensive restaurants we've tried! The owners are super friendly and are so proud of their product. They use haddock, which is brought in fresh each day. You can taste the quality of this fish, I promise. The batter isn't too heavy; it's just right and the fish itself is so flakey and not at all oily. You can tell they keep their fryer oil clean - this is so important!! We got a three piece with chips and onion rings, which was just under $25. Totally worth it. Fish was perfect. They are even thoughtful enough to poke small holes in the packaging so your meal doesn't get soggy on its journey home. There are ropes and signs to help with distancing as well. A few picnic tables on the lot too, if you want to sit and eat in the moment. We will be back. Probably a lot more often now that we've finally had a chance to try it!

After their absence all winter, when I got home with my order, I was so excited I left the car running in the driveway. So good. Good price. Nice people.

Never had the urge to stop here because I thought it was just a fry truck with fries / poutines but I'm glad that today the sun was shining and I was in the mood to eat lunch at a picnic table. I got the 2 piece fish and chips and honestly didnt expect much being that its a food truck but as soon as I recieved my order I was pleasantly surprised. Chips were great but the fish pieces were HUGE. Not much batter and a whole lotta fish and it tasted very fresh. This spot has mastered the art of fish and chips no doubt! Peelers would give any spot in the city and probably even the province a run for their money guaranteed. Prices were sensible and the service was friendly. You've got a new returning customer 100%
