Nadine and the mint + honey staff are always so pleasant. There’s an incredible selection of tea, honey, treats and more in store! I never leave empty handed and I’m always finding new Canadian and local brands at the shop. Truly a beautifully curated collection of goods in store.

What a magical, impeccably curated tea/gift shop! Mint & Honey is by far the best tea store I’ve ever been to (within Ottawa and beyond). This is my go-to spot for all of my tea and gifting needs. On top of the incredible tea selections, you can also find gourmet chocolates, jams, and other delicious treats which make perfect gifts (there are also beautiful gift baskets to choose from). Many of the products are locally sourced/Canadian-made, and all are Fair-Trade, which is amazing. Nadine, the owner, is a true tea expert and an absolutely wonderful person. From the moment you walk in, she makes you feel right at home and walks you through all the various tea types, allowing you to sit down and sample each selection. During our first visit, we were lucky enough to be treated to a sit-down tea tasting, where Nadine introduced us to some of the best teas we’d ever tried. She explained the making and origin of the teas and even paired the teas with special jams/crackers...It was so special! I can’t say enough good things about Mint & Honey. It isn’t just a beautiful tea shop, it’s got a heart and soul to it that is one-of-a-kind, and that’s thanks to Nadine! Can’t wait to be back again soon.

I was looking for a specific tea and Nadine helped me by searching up the ingredients of that tea blend and recommended I try various types that will provide the same flavour and effect. What I really appreciated is that she offered the sample sizes for me to try before purchasing a full box, which shows that she really cares about the customer satisfaction. Instead, I insisted I buy the full size boxes and I definitely am so happy I went with them because I compared her variety of teas to the one I requested, and the comparison cant be matched. Nadine’s collection of teas have more flavour and feel more concentrated than the teas I was used to. Thank you so much for your help and I will be buying all my teas from you now on!

What a cute shop!THE SPOT for deliciously brewed teas. Its a little hidden, located across from the Mandarin restaurant in Kanata.So, if you haven't had the pleasure take a walk or drive over and have Nadine make you up a warm cup of happiness.
