We just finished a week on an R&R boat yesterday. What a great time! This was our 2nd time renting and again, our experience was excellent. The staff at R&R are always friendly and very helpful. Randy is always great with suggestions on where to go, what to see and where to stay. Our boys had a blast. Lots of swimming, fishing and jumping off the boat. We couldn't have asked for a better time and are already planning next summer's trip. Thank you R&R for another memorable family trip.

Such a relaxing time we had on the water.Any issues we had were resolved quickly and professionallyIt’s a family run business so you are dealing with owners who want to make sure you have a great holiday. Booked last year, and made several attempts to resolve our issues with the company and received zero feedback or compensation.Boat sat for a week before we picked it up and took it out for a weekend with several friends. We booked their large houseboat with the hottub. As you can tell when you book, it's not cheap.Once we departed, the gong show ensued. Multiple maintenance issues and some just blatant disregard for safety or for general care for the boat. The hottub never worked, the charging outlets didn't work for the first day, an engine failed. And every call to maintenance was met with disdain. Their lead maintenance staff is the owner and he complains when you call him, so good luck.Honestly, don't waste your money. The staff, while polite, aren't helpful, and the owner is useless and had us get the boat back on one engine because the other failed. And to repeat, the hottub never worked, and they did nothing to compensate or acknowledge their issues. They just took our money quietly and will do the same to you. Do NOT waste your time or money here.

My brother and I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a houseboat rental vacation with R&R Houseboat Rentals, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. From the friendly and informative communication with Brenda before our trip to the outstanding service provided by Chad during our trip, everything exceeded our expectations.Before our departure, Brenda's warm and helpful nature shone through as she patiently answered all of our questions. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had all the information we needed to make us confident we were prepared for our trip.Upon arrival, we were greeted by Chad, who provided us with an outstanding orientation. His professionalism and dedication were evident as he meticulously explained all the necessary details, ensuring we felt comfortable operating the houseboat. What truly impressed us was when first thing in the morning, Chad promptly came to our island after we had drained the engine battery overnight. His swift response and willingness to assist were truly commendable, saving us from any inconvenience.The rooms and decor of the houseboat were delightful, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The clean and well-maintained bathrooms provided us comfort that surpassed our expectations. The fully prepared kitchen was a dream, equipped with everything we needed to cook and dine in style.One of the highlights of our vacation was operating the 60ft vessel through the locks with the help of the lock attendants. The houseboat's intuitive controls made the experience a thrilling adventure, and the attendants were there every step of the way, offering guidance and ensuring a smooth passage.This trip was the perfect bachelor trip for my brother and let all of us disconnect from the world and immerse ourselves in nature. Make sure you can make your reservation date ! You will not get your deposit back if you don't. I could not make mine even though its 4 months away. Personal things come up in peoples lives. Very disappointing to say the least. We were very excited to do this. Something different ..But what ever Enjoy my $250! I will never consider R&R again.

Have rented from R & R for 3 years and it's always a blast! The staff are amazing and are around to help if you have a question. Last weekend they hosted an amazing concert on the water. Houseboats and speedboats from around the area showed up to enjoy. Glad I got to be a part of it.

If I could give this less than one star I would.My spouse and I sent a deposit to hold a specific size boat. They accepted the e-transfer around noon the day we sent it and the next day reached out to us stating the size we wanted and had laid a deposit down for was no longer available, however they had a smaller boat for less days available. Due to how many of us were attending this end of summer trip, and our schedules, we needed the larger size boat.We decided to ask for our deposit back.After 1.5 weeks of waiting for the deposit, we still hadn’t received it. We sent an email to follow up and they responded that their financial lady was off sick and would *hopefully* be back within a few days. I understand people get sick and life happens. What’s not understandable, is how the owners and operators of this company don’t have access to their business bank account to send a simple e-transfer.The entire process has been a headache and quite disappointing really.

I didn’t personally rent one but the ones we’ve seen in the locks are in disrepair. No fenders, broken boat hooks, engines not turning over. Made their passengers and others lives a little more nerve racking than needed for vacation.

We had an absolutely fantastic week on the water with our R & R Houseboat.The orientation was quick and Chad offered lots of great idea’s for places to visit and stay for the night while on the water.Most people we met while travelling were very friendly and helpful as well.Travelling into the locks and docks were a bit anxious as we learned how the boat moved but we were able to do so without any incidents (and my wife instructing me to just go SLOW).We unfortunately suffered some engine issues on our last day but the staff were quick to get to our location and provide service.
