I left numerous voicemails for someone to call me back to make arrangements to pick up a number of furniture items all in excellent condition with no response. When I called the main phone number I got through to someone who said that he is the one who responds and proceeded to ask me for my name, phone number and what items I had to donate (all of these details were left in the numerous voicemails that were left). He then told me that they do not accept beds or large furniture items.VERY disappointing - I need these items removed from the unit by Feb 20 and had started leaving voicemails several weeks ago. I’ve now run out of time and am being told that they do not accept these items. This information should be readily available on their website AND there should be a more prompt response to voicemails as I did indicate my timeline in the voicemails as well. The lack of response and attentiveness to my donation offerings shows a blatant disregard for people and items that they are wishing to donate.I DO NOT recommend this “church” organization for your donation needs as they are non-responsive and disrespectful.

Shame on them. They make me appreciate the love and care and cleanliness of the Mennonite thrift stores. All the Mennonite stores have only items in perfect repair, clean, heat treated for bed bugs. It's almost as if they think poor people like nice things too.Staff used to be nice, but lately with one or two exceptions they're impatient grumpy and unpleasant. The prices are ridiculously high. And the items can be filthy, especially the kitchen items, I've found unwashed mouldy bake ware. Things covered with congealed grease.Lately they've been pushy to the point of rude a new worker is just a jerk.I will not return, I've heard them deny someone a lay away for a day. They have got so much stuff that keeping something an extra day wouldn't be noticed, the item was 12.00 if she didn't pay, it wasn't a big loss. You really have to dig, literally with your hands to find anything that is inexpensive and not junk. If you really need low priced items, go somewhere else, anywhere else.

The front cashier was extremely rude when I asked for the price check. After I tried on 3 shirts and decided to purchase them. I placed the shirts on the cashier counter, she stared at me intensely and said: where are the hangers?" I told her I hung them by the mirror. She stormed away

If I could give less stars I would. This used to be one of my favourite spots to get a good deal. But the last time I went in not only were things overpriced priced, I found a large adult BED BUG. I understand that these things can happen, but when I brought it up with the elderly woman at the till, she claimed she didn’t know what they were. Another shopper said we should tell the man that worked there although she was hesitant and mentioned the last time she was in he was rude and raised his voice at her. While I was in the shop they also kicked out a homeless man for shoplifting and then laughed once he had gone.Rude and crude!

It’s a very small and unorganized thrift store. Luckily I found one good deal there but most of the good itens are overpriced and badly displayed.

The owners are so kind! I came right when the store was closing and the door already locked, and they let me in still. I was on the hunt for champagne glasses and they had a few in store. I saw ones that said bride and groom and I said oh

Absolutely appalling experience! The female employee was beyond rude when I asked for a discount on an overpriced purse (double the price of all other purses). The purse could have used a good cleaning; containing a crumpled mask/paper towel and loose tobacco. She wouldn't consider a discount and didn't let me explain it filthy state. She came out from behind the counter and grabbed the purse. I put the other items on the counter and left shocked at my treatment and disgusted overall. I would love apology. I hope someone reads this post.

absolutely rude to a customer while I was there today !! Very disappointed from a store that is based on donations..the lady wanted to buy a shirt that was under 5 bucks and they told her it's a 5 dollar min on debit. I wish I had cash on me for her. She did not get her shirt and left. I suggest they could have been more polite. Over all I will not come here ever again, and the trunk full of donations will go else where..Actually .going to take them to hastings and give them away.Store needs a cleaning and to be organized. Yuk!
