I visited Valley Hair Boutique for a consultation. I showed one lady a picture of the hair I wanted. I asked her how much it would all cost - I was fine with the cost. Then, I booked my appointment and had my hair coloured, cut and styled. Once it was time to pay - my total was double than was what said to me during the consultation....although I am happy with the highlights and colour, the haircut was not done right. My layers did not blend at all, my bangs we not even, and my wallet was robbed. I am never coming back.

The owner Phuong is my go-to stylist! Never a bad cut or style! Her shop is always clean, appointments are always on time. Been going here for about 5 years now.

I got my hair straightened by Phuong at her old salon (Spotlite Hair Studio) and she destroyed my hair. On the top of my head, one section looked like a wiry sponge. I messaged Phuong to tell her about this and she tried to blame the state of my hair. I came in with healthy virgin hair and no health issues affecting my hair. She said she would do a repair treatment for 15% off. This is extremely greedy considering I paid her $350 for the treatment + additional for a hair cut and gave her a $70 tip. I had to wait a very long time for the damage to grow out (so that I could cut that section off as it was damaged beyond repair). So many people had commented on how damaged my hair looked, including professionals in high end salons. If you value the hair on your head, don’t go to her!EDITED TO ADD RESPONSE: Yes, I am aware that this occurred a while ago. I have been meaning to write a review. I was looking through my old photos and came across a picture that reminded me of this. I am aware that you may not remember me. I have only been to your salon once and never wanted to go back. I had very long hair that I had been growing for years. To have it damaged at the top of my head (in such a visible spot) was really upsetting. I had to wait for this damaged hair (that was basically near the root area) to grow down to an acceptable length so that I could cut it off. This took years. What I found even more upsetting was your offer to use a treatment at 15% off" to repair my hair. Perhaps spending over $400 is not a big deal to you

Made an appointment for my daughter who has a mox of wavy/ curly hair. Booked with Vicky reference from a coworker. Amazing experience!! Clean, professional and friendly staff. Vicky explained what is the best way to wash my daughter's hair how often and best products to use since wavy/ curly hair can be a challenge. Let me tell you I and my daughter are very very happy. I highly recommend this salon. I have booked for my other daughter later for this week and for myself. Looking forward!

I decided to give Valley Hair Boutique a try based on Google reviews alone. Their 4.9 rating certainly caught my attention that I had to give them a try…am I ever glad I did!!What a wonderful experience, from the moment I was welcomed at the front door by Piero, to Adrianna’s friendly demeanour and finally the talent, friendliness and professionalism of Phuong!I have very curly hair and am rather particular when it comes to cutting it, but Phuong impressed! I was left with an incredible cut with lots of bounce (and my length!!) and the colour was bang on as well.It’s not often I’m left completely satisfied with my hair at other salons, but today was certainly a new and refreshing experience.The reviews on Google did not lead meastray, instead it lead me to my new hair salon.A definite must try!

Had a great experience. Booking appointment was rarely easy over the phone. The cut I got was a layered bob and it turned out exactly how I wanted. My hairdresser (Adriana) was friendly, professional and skilled. Price is also quite moderate.

So I tried out this salon because my previous hairdresser closed down, and I had a great experience! :) Definitely deserve the rating they have here.Vicky took really good care of me and was just very friendly and welcoming and fun to talk to even though I was a first-timer (definitely going to ask for her next time), and also gave great advice (for stuff like layers, hair length, styling products, hair care, etc) to all my questions haha. She really knows her stuff. I got a little trim just to shape up my quarantine hair (which was below my shoulders), and a balayage (my hair is a sandy/dark blonde), and she took care and attention to get everything right, and checked in with me/made sure I liked it during each step. I'm very happy with her work, my hair looks so vibrant and alive now! (Thank you Vicky if you're reading this! ❤️) She also styled it afterwards and I'm definitely going to copy her when I style my hair.The salon is clean and professional, neatly organized, the furniture is modern and comfy, and the front receptionist is very nice! Also reasonably priced for the great quality of work they do. I found my new salon!
