Staff is friendly, and efficient. Our babygirl felt safe and actually went back into the back to get her blood work done. That is a miracle. They usually have to do it in the room with us in it. I am so thankful to these wonderful people.

I love this vet office! Everyone is so nice and loves your animals. I needed an emergent appointment and they got me in the same day! My kitty George enjoys the office and wandering around to see what’s going on.

They send my cat a birthday card... what more do I need to say?The office gals aew sweet. The doc is a gem. Tink does not take well to men and she tolerates him well. I mean, she's a Tortie, so that's saying a LOT! Close to home. I'm so glad I found them.

Very clean office and exam rooms. Super friendly staff and veterinarians. Prices very reasonable.Always a good experience here. They squeezed me in on a Friday for an emergency, even when short staffed. Much appreciated!

Today was our first visit. They seemed very caring and were very nice. Got us in the same day I called and just so friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be going back for all my dogs needs and routine care. I’m so happy to find a good vet that doesn’t push a bunch of unnecessary test. She gave her honest recommendation. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much.

We weren’t able to get our 12 yo lab in to her usual vet to be euthanized. Someone recommended we contact Black River and we are SO glad we did. From the original phone call to the time we walked in the room (that is set up in a way for people to exit without going through waiting room after procedure) we and our dog Tillie were treated in a kind compassionate way during a very tough time. The VT & doc were helpful, knowledgeable and explained everything they were doing. I wish we would have found this vet sooner!

Black River Veterinary Clinic
We were looking for a vet during the pandemic. It was impossible to get our dog into our normal vet. We were recommended to Black River by Krause in Armada. What a pleasant surprise. I have been very impressed by the service we have been receiving for the past couple years. We have a dog with skin issues, and the vet really took the time to explain the mechanics. Now I give him an extra pill when he's scratchy and he is a much happier pup!
