Sage & Solace , Farmstays and Venue

The Sage & Solace farm was one of the most charming places I was lucky to stay at! I especially loved the interior design, which has a lot of details carefully thought out, the décor is both rustic and elegant, while the space itself is modern and functional. We had the best time wandering amongst the beautiful nature and animals on the property. You'll want to take pictures all day long, it's a perfect getaway!

What an incredible oasis! Barb is just fantastic and makes you feel very welcome and her talents are never ending! The suites are of an exceptionally very high standard not found easily, so private and are a rare find. Connects you with the nature and yourself. An ideal place for self reflection, to take a step back and just breathe! A hidden gem that I am sure will not stay hidden for long! Thank you for creating such an incredible retreat!

I absolutely love working with Barb from Sage and Solace farm. she grows the most beautiful and interesting varieties of flowers and always has what i need even when it’s last minute! would highly recommend them for all your florist needs!

Barb hosted our long-term stay at Sage and Solace this past winter/spring. The suite and venue were beautiful and relaxing, and Barb was quick to respond to any of our requests or concerns. Overall, I would recommend Sage and Solace for your next relaxing get-away. As an added bonus, her farm dogs are very cuddly and sweet!

My husband and I have been planning a post-covid celebration at Sage and Solace! We have absolutely loved working with Barb in this process. She has been nothing but accommodating to us and has so much knowledge on how to use the farm for its best! The property is stunning with so much to see and endless uses! Every time we go there's something new. Highly recommend Sage and Solace for any and all events!

Stayed at Sage and Solace for a few nights and it invigorated my mind, body and spirit! The property features a beautiful 20 acre natural setting that simply cannot be captured entirely from the pictures in the airbnb ad. It was a delightful surprise to arrive there and discover this! It was also a huge perk to be able to use the outdoor spaces there.The setting is ideal for rest, relaxation and enjoying nature!For my few days that I stayed there, there was very little need to leave the property as there was so much to experience there. My friend and I walked around, meditated and stretched on the soft, well-kept grass in the shade. We spotted owls, horses, baby ducks and goats, beautiful butterflies and so much more! There are many nice spots to sit and reflect upon the beauty of the natural setting. In the evenings we sat at the fire pit by the pond and my friend played her hand-pan drum. There were many other wonderful songs of nature which I heard. Listening in on the croaking of the frogs in between periods of total silence of the night was hilarious too.The hosts were absolutely lovely people, and all the staff I encountered were very accommodating and friendly to us! Barb has amazing pieces of her art tastefully decorating the suite!And it cannot be forgotten how impressive Zeus and Xena, the two large dogs who guard the property are! They are such good dogs and dedicated in protecting the guests and all those who call the property their home.This leads me to one of my favourite aspects about my stay which was that the sounds of nature that can heard at various periods of the day. The suite was so quiet at times that there were many times I felt pure peaceful bliss accompanied by only bird song! At night I could sometimes hear packs of coyotes howling in the distance, and when I did soon after I would hear the barks of the dogs warning any intruders that it would be unwise to venture too close. Needless to say I always slept well on those nights!There's so much more positive things to say but I'll leave it for others to discover themselves... I absolutely loved staying here!

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming farm stay with friends, and it was an absolute delight! The beautiful garden and adorable farm animals, including chatty ducks by the lake, it added a touch of whimsy to the whole place. Felt like a true getaway even just 40 mins out from VancouverOne of the things that truly stood out was the impeccable attention to detail. Indoors and out, every nook and cranny was infused attention to detail. Our suites had this great balance of rustic charm and modern comforts. Felt absolutely cozy!The hosts are very welcoming and warm. They’re very accommodating and it’s evident in their attention to detail and their willingness to go the extra mile to make guests feel at home. Hope to stay here again!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for a month and it was an absolute dream! The suite is designed so thoughtfully and beautifully. Barb is an extraordinary host and we enjoyed getting to know her so much. She is passionate and creative and I have no doubt your expectations will be exceeded with any service she provides!

visited early bird family farm to do a pumpkin donation drop off in the beginning of November, very kind ladies told us about the farm operations and welcomed us to view the goats, chickens, and geese on the property which seem very happy and well cared for. very lovely dogs hanging out as well. they grow all organic cut flowers too and have a beautiful garden.

My then-fiancee and I absolutely loved Sage and Solace. We were here for a couple of occasions (date night, wedding ceremony, and AirBnb stay) and enjoyed every moment of our stays! Barb's farm is a gorgeous location for a wedding ceremony, and she was helpful and responsive when we were planning it out.There are chickens wandering the flowers and goats in the field along with two extremely friendly dogs as well (no worries, the dogs are inside during large events). The flowers are beautiful with consistent and seasonal variations as we were there for July and September. If you're looking for a beautiful wedding venue without a need for decorations, we highly recommend Sage & Solace
