Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)

I am visiting in St. Albert. While I was walking my dog, I lost my cell phone. I was panicking because my driving licence, credit cards, health insurance card were all in my cellphone case! I retraced my walking path twice to try and find it without any luck! I called my cell and a kind RCMP officer answered my call. In 20 minutes, the pleasant officer showed up at the door with my phone. Excellent service! I also want to express my gratitudes to the lady who picked up my cell and took it to the RCMP Station. I wish this wonderful lady and the kind officer a happy holiday season and a Merry Christmas.

The st.albert RCMP are an absolute let down to the tax payers. It is almost impossible to get them to do anything. They have no interest in actually helping they just want to puff their chests and collect a pay cheque. I have so many examples it would take forever so I’ll give the most recent. A youth in st.albert stole from a jeweller in st.albert mall, they have his name and his Snapchat account, they have witnesses that have identified him, he still comes to the mall and hangs out and they do nothing, they won’t drive two minutes down the road to do their jobs.

I have had to rely on the St Albert police 3-4 times and every time has been an incredible disappointment. They seem afraid of having to do any actual work other than handing out traffic tickets. The woman who answers the phone was beyond useless and was probably eager to get back to her crossword. I expect more and so should you.

A joke of a police station. Called 2 days ago to confirm that an AISH card would be an acceptable ID, showed up today and she said it’s not because it’s “medical” then was whining and moaning that she can take it but she can’t? Didn’t realize it was expired before hand and when she seen she was extrenly rude and very unhelpful. Every time I’ve come in for a criminal record check, they’ve been seriously arrogant. Absolutely dread having to come in here. She was so relieved it was expired so she didn’t have to help us. Didn’t get her name was to frusterated but she had straight, medium black hair and glasses. She shouldn’t be dealing with people, can’t even imagine coming here in an emergent situation and being met while such an arrogant, unhelpful person. Put her in the back where she belongs.

Honestly some officers need sensitivity training. Not only have all my encounters with the St. Albert police been negative over minor issues but they honestly have some members that seem to be discrimatory and harassive in a bullying way. It's sad that the color of my skin and standing up for myself against, in lack of a better word, bullies, gets me harassared and made to feel like a criminal when in reality I work very hard to be where I am at today and I know when I am being unfairly attacked. Sad. This whole precinct needs to have some serious training about discrimination, the effects of prejudice and have those that are racist and/or those that can not leave their emotions at home, suspended. There is no justice or law being handed out when people like that are behind such power. I honestly do not feel like St. Albert is a welcoming place for someone of color. If you can not handle your job as a professional and without emotion as your job requires maybe you should not be a police officer.

I was in a car accident in St Albert and attended the RCMP station . Thank you to you all and to Constable Lutz who handled a tricky situation so well

The front end girl ( Melanie ) is definitely NOT suited for Customer Relations...Rude,not a hello ,Thank you ...maybe St.Albert taxes could go toward training some of these desk people...oops that should be Fed Money...

My truck was towed from st albert mall aug 2020 ,black lifted f350 . It has been at road runner towing all this time ,locked in a sealed yard ...... now when my case is getting settled and I'm getting my truck back . Road runners says my locked truck in a secure yard is cleaned out of 3k of work gear ..Who are you dealing with rcmp ? I want accountability......

A wonderful experience with both the attending officer and the service provided in a recent call and subsequent visit.
