I love this store!! The selection is outstanding; the owner really goes out of her way to track down gorgeous fabrics and premium notions and accessories. Anything you buy from there, is guaranteed to be high quality. And the customer service can't be beat. Every one of my orders has arrived quickly, and beautifully packaged. You can tell this shop is run with a lot of love and care!

This is a lovely little shop in the heart of Monkland Village. The owner is so helpful and there are unique fabrics not found elsewhere. I came with swatches to match and found a beautiful backing for a quilt I was working on.

Monkland Quilt Studio is not only a quilt fabric shop and studio space, it’s especially a supportive community of wonderful people. The owner Rebecca and team have managed to create a welcoming and safe space for all quilter’s. Wether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced quilter, this is the place for you. You won’t find any quilting police here, only passionate fabric junkies. I’m a textile designer with minimum quilting knowledge and I have found my crowd of like minded people within this space.Love you guys! Wishing you a long life in the new space!Nathalie

Cannot recommend this quilt shop enough! I order online for shipment and Rebecca provides excellent customer service. She is inviting, helpful and very responsive. Orders are fulfilled and shipped quickly as well. Her fabric selection and sales are excellent as well.

Monkland Quilt Studio
This is a lovely store. I’ve visited it and also ordered twice online. The fabrics are beautiful and unique, and the owner has some irresistible fabric bundles. She answers email right away and makes helpful colour suggestions. Everything I’ve ordered was shipped the same day and arrived wrapped with pretty strings and tags, like I was ordering a gift for myself. A wonderful experience!

I had been searching for the perfect backing for a queen size quilt and found a gorgeous and soft wideback from Monkland. I was recommended to check her out based on her excellent customer service and she did not disappoint! I had a couple dumb questions and she helped me figure out yardage and had it in the mail the next day. It came beautifully and securely wrapped. I’m hoping to make a visit on my next trip to Montreal but also wouldn’t hesitate to order again online!

This is a gem in the heart of Monkland village! Beautiful selection of fabrics in this welcoming little store. Quality fabric chosen with care and some very nice quilt patterns and material for quilting. Above all, what makes this store unique is the expertise and generosity of Rebecca, always welcoming and ready to offer help with choosing fabrics or tips to help us progress in the art of quilting. I always like to visit local shops when travelling and I had a great time visiting this shop in person! It was easy to get to via public transportation and the surrounding neighborhood is a peaceful place to walk around.Scheduling a visit online was simple and Rebecca was very welcoming. She has a great selection and was pleasant to chat with about the local quilting scene. I purchased a few things and would definitely purchase from here again.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful MQS is!! I have been shopping their since it first opened and I am not sure how I ever did without. The owner is super knowledgable and clearly very passionate about the craft. She is very insightful and extremely helpful with recommendations. The actual products are fantastic. There is such a nice variety of fabrics, patterns and notions. Whether you are new to sewing/quilting or very experienced this is 100% the shop for you.
