Knowledgeable instructors with a wide range of experience. The school sets a difficult pace and high expectations to ensure that you are well prepared for OFM testing. If you want to be a fire fighter this is the school that will get you there.

I had a great experience at SFA, the 14 day boot camp is run and lead but some of the best instructors. I couldn’t have been happier with the experience! Will definitely be back!

Finally found some time to check out the new facility in Tay township, On and I am very impressed to say the least. Everything is neat and tidy. Burn structures are awesome(indoors and out). Love the student dorms and kitchen areas! Looks like a whole lot of fun. I want to work there! Lol

Great run school gives you an experience of what a real fire hall would be like. The variety of instructors was second to none would definitely recommend!

Had a great experience going through the 3 weeks at Southwest Fire Academy (days 1-4 and the 2 week bootcamp). All the instructors there are great and enjoy teaching the new wave of firefighters. Brad was very knowledgeable in the days 1-4 and all the instructors had the place run efficiently through bootcamp. I learned a ton and on to the next step!

Great program. I got hired on full time within a few months of graduating. SFA prepared me well for the hiring process and starting my career as a firefighter! Thanks SFA!
