Shoppers Drug Mart

Made an appointment for a perscribed inoculation days in advance. Arrived to find out prescription was not in stock. Even though I had to book for a specific medicine. They never called me to tell me it was in. Had to keep calling every morning, and sit on hold for 20 min, until it was in - a week later. Then I had to come in and wait 45 min to get injected. So what's the point of the appointment? Very frustrating, felt like a lack of respect for my time.Sadly, would not recommend for involved prescriptions.

If I could give no stars I would. Horrible store. Seems that all the good staff is gone. There were only self check out available when I was there, which is not OK. Nice to have some for those that want them but to force us to do all the work and still charge full price. Not OK. It's also lost jobs. The post office which is the only reason I go into that store ever now was pathetic. Seems someone new was being trained, likely replacing the 2 people who actually knew what they were doing. Why? The great ladies that used to be in the cosmetic section are gone as well. Why? Since the last time I was forced to go in there to pick up at the post office, it's even a more dismal store and not a place I would ever go to on any level. Read SDM response, it's a generic reply. No, I am not wasting my time on the phone for more generic replies from scripted customer service people. Fix your stores SDM. All self checkout is horrible and not acceptable, and eliminating any good staff is also not. There are other places to shop, and have prescriptions filled that value customers. Generic responses are a huge slap in the face to consumers.

Honestly it is a nice location and store but, 70% of the staff are not very helpful. I have had a few instances where the staff just come off as uncaring and don't bother to really try to help (management included, have asked for their help before too and meh.. its a store culture to not care I guess). It's sad because it could otherwise be a great shoppers. The pharmacy also is extremely slow.Post office experience is an exception, they've been great.

I tried to transfer my medication here a few months ago and they somehow transfered the wrong medication and set up auto renew at a location 6 hours north of Toronto for the one I was trying to get.I transfered my all medications to a different location today, and it took about 20 minutes for them to answer the phone, then they didn't send it properly. Then another 20 minutes to answer the phone again.One time I was in the makeup section after work. I looked like a man because I had no makeup short hair and men's clothes. They were very rude to me and tried to sell me something obviously the wrong shade. They are only helpful when I wear women's clothes and makeup.

Just look at the ratings, speaks for itself. Anytime you use the pharmacy it's takes so long to pick up a simple prescription, staff are inexperienced or don't care or both. They rarely even have medicines in stock either, if it was the last pharmacy on earth I'd go without the medicine and see what happens. Reason for review is because it's not a once off it's every time you go goven the benefit of the doubt once too many times. Plenty of other options in the area.

The worst pharmacy team in GTA!! They are unprofessional, have no customer service. They are impatient with customers and have no respect for what they have to say. They never even want to hear what you are saying and just blindly trust their own unprofessional judgment. If there are other options, I would not definitely recommend going here unless you want to experience the terrible service.

I go to this Shoppers often and have spent a fair amount of money at this location over the years. I went in looking for something specific in the cosmetic section. As I was perusing the nail polish and reading labels, the beauty counter associate came right up to me to ask me if I was looking for something to which I replied 'nail polish' as I showed her what was in my hand. She then asked if she could help me with something to which I replied 'no.' She walked away and then I heard an announcement made about eyes in the aisle or whatever she said and then next thing I know, someone who appeared to be a floor walker marched up right beside me and was pretending to look at something beside me. My assumption about this person being a floor walker was made because I encountered this person when I entered the store, meandering by the entrance of the store near the beauty counter cash. I took my items to the beauty counter cash and as I paid for them, I addressed this with the associate letting her know how that the whole experience impacted my customer experience shopping there and I felt like I was being scrutinized. She apologized and said the intention was not to scrutinize.I recognize that stores are always looking to manage loss prevention but treating every customer as if they are up to no good when they walk into your store is just bad for business. I would recommend investing in better training for your associates to balance a positive customer experience against monitoring for theft. I have been in many other Shoppers Drug Marts in this city and have not encountered such behaviour so perhaps you could learn from your peers. Based on my experience today, I have decided to return the items I purchased as I am not interested in spending money in a place that treats their customers this way.

Changing from a 4 star to a 1 star after various issues at this location that are too horrifying to even detail due to a willingness to not increase my blood pressure.But my last straw was after spending hundreds of dollars here almost weekly since October, and being accused of stealing only to be found innocent and receive zero apologies whatsoever. It was horrifying, humiliating and the coldness of staff was really, truly haunting. The young man accussing me was incredibly unprofessional and unsettlingly dehumanizing. The lack of apology here really makes this not sit right and shoppers went from where I spend pretty much all of my expendable income, to a place I will never in my life,shop again.

Shoppers drugmart corporation should be ashamed to call this one of their pharmacies. Have been blatantly lied to about my refill requested over and over and overagain, I was at the shoppers and bloor and Bedford previously with NO ISSUES FOR YEARS. The young male employee needs to go, he berates and gaslights you when you whilst being wholly incompetent at the same time. All of a sudden I can't get a refill requested without calling between the two to see what the hell is going on, on my 6th call now and will be picking up my script and PROMTPLY switching pharmacies. Don't give them a chance, and I don't want your thanks for your comment response either, do better, you clearly have more time to pander publicly but not train your staff.

It’s actually shocking how bad this pharmacy is - 30-60min wait times by phone at least (honestly good luck getting through) and they knowingly leave their clients without medication for days because they under staff and can’t fill enough prescriptions. When I went in to pick up my medication after not having it for 3 days I was told it wasn’t ready and I’d have to wait another day because there was currently “107 overdue prescriptions to fill”. How is it okay to leave people without important prescriptions for days on end?! To top it off the pharmacist is incredibly rude and offers very little support or information when asked.
