Trailside Music Hall

We went to see/listen to a local performer

I was there with my pre-teens for a Kitchen Party but didn't know that meant you were paying for the music band and that food wasn't included. Some clarity on the website would've been appreciated. Also include whether it is appropriate for kids to attend. I got some strange looks by staff when I showed up with my pre-teens!

A great upscale venue for live music. The sound in the room is amazing. Looking forward to hearing more bands in the Trailside

It's a quaint room that looks like it went back in time to the 70s for its furnishings. The food and drinks were good, the server was genuine but inattentive and the AC was set to arctic tundra. The show itself, though was superb (Fabulously Rich - a Tragically Hip cover band) and the acoustics in the room were solid.

We had a good experience at the Trailside Music Hall last night but it had the potential to be a great night. The venue is small enough to be intimate yet large enough to not feel cramped by other patrons. Tables were nicely arranged with reserved tables close to the stage for patrons who had prepaid online. The sound system and view of the stage is very good. The food was very good and there was a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages all competitively priced. A great place for local artists to perform .Unfortunately a large group of about a dozen young people were sat beside us and the 6 women (who acted more like immature teens) talked ALL night long laughing and practically shouting across the table at each other WHILE the artists were performing. I politely asked one of the girls to ask the others to keep it down" to which one of the other girls turned to me and said "No!". Even their male partners got loud the more they drank. I don't have a problem with people being loud while engaged in the performance but their behaviour was simply inconsiderate

Music hall was cool and drafty. But the rest of the venue was excellent! Highly recommended Trail Side for music events.

Absolutely love this place! Such an awesome place to enjoy live music. Prior to the show we enjoyed a great meal. Must try the nachos to share. The fish tacos and curry chicken are our go to plates.... always tasty! The serving staff are awesome too... very friendly and super attentive. Seeing Matt Andersen is always a treat. Love to see him with a full band with him. Didn't know that stage could handle 9 musicians! This venue is a gem in the region.

Had a great time watching Dancing Queen. Staff did an amazing job for a really busy night.
