Nice stop or an overnight recharge with an easy forested trail along the river. Right next to a quieter highway with the friendly and helpful attendant in residence.

Nice little camping area with a friendly host, Leanne. Great views and love falling asleep to the sound of the rushing creek. Water was running way too fast to go in and cool off from the heatwave happening during our stay. We were thankful for some shade in the +40 temperatures. We did see a couple of black bears in the area, but not in the campsite. No water or cell service. A couple of outhouses are cleaned daily including sites that are vacant. A pretty far drive from our house, but would definitely recommend if you are looking for some relaxing time to recharge your batteries. Firewood is available for a small fee.

Great campsites. Rec site was not busy, we easily found a quiet Riverside site with great views and ambiance. Fairly priced, close to lillooet, we would stay at cottonwood again In a heartbeat

Amazing location that feels isolated yet is close to surrounding hot-spots. Hard to walk anywhere directly from campsite though as there is only highway, and a small trail that is overgrown. Still a beautiful local, just go when its a bit colder otherwise the mosquito's will have their way with ya.

Love this rec site. It is quite and they only thing you hear is running water. It does get busy though if you have fire close by then helicopters come to collect water from the river. I would 100% go back. It was a very unique experience!!

Nice camp sites with picnic table, fire ring, two outhouses and a site operator staying on site. Cost to stay is $15 a night and firewood can be purchased for $5 per bundle. Good options here for a tent, hammock, or even a small trailer. Three other red sites are nearby in case this one is full and all are equally well tended. Be bear aware in this area! No cell service at these sites.
