review date: april 17, 2023customer service date: april 17, 2023i have been dealing with a variety of contractors in different fields, over the past year for my home repairs.contractors move at their own pace, with no rhyme or rhythm often times. and you don't always know what to expect. many will even ghost you also.despite that i did not end up using roberts electric (RE), the reason i'm writing a positive review is for their professionalism and candor in my situation.shout out to megan in the office, for having the decency to phone back on monday after i called late friday afternoon, and for being upfront that based on the job i was looking to have done, it would not be competitively priced as i am in hamilton and RE based out of st.catharines.she suggested that for my job, to stay with local companies to get the best service and pricing. i also appreciated that with a quick explanation she already had a good grasp on what the job entailed.this turned out to be true, as an outfit in brampton quoted me 2x the price for the same work as a few hamilton companies were offering.bottom line: factoring in the overall positive google reviews for roberts' quality of workmanship...for local st.catharines area folks, i would recommend calling RE to see if they could be of service for your electrical needs.for others in RE's overall service area, i would recommend calling them also, to see if your job is big enough.

October 2022 update! During renovation, had a power outage in part of the house; Brad's team solved the issue in short order and did another repair for me while there. Very good company to work with..they really want to have a happy, satisfied customer...which I am! Thanks guys!Super responsive, arrive on time; friendly, respectful of my home and professional. Great at explaining what issues are and rates are reasonable. Have used several times on major renovation and very happy with their work.

I was given the name from a real estate agent. Once we connected via text, the next day they arrived and went straight to work. It was a rush request from me and they came through. The work was done at my sons house and he knows a bit about electrical but isn’t licensed. He was happy with the work and will be calling them back to finish some other work in the future. Highly recommend the service and work.

We have used Brad and his crews on many occasions, and have never been disappointed. From wiring our new build and several other things on our property, to bringing him in to our customers job sites to help them through any electrical issue. Brad has always responded quickly and professionally and his staff always completes the task meeting the higher quality and standards in their industry.

We utilized Roberts Electric to help us with some electrical issues we experienced during our basement renovation. Brad and his team are courteous, professional, punctual, communicative, reasonable in price, and great problem-solvers. We are very happy with the work they have done for us.

I wanted to have a ceiling fan installed at the top of a staircase. I needed the light fixture moved 4 feet over and the fan installed. Roberts Electric was able to book me in the next morning and 2 electricians came out. They spent just over one hour from start to finish and did an amazing job. The invoice was 30% less than 2 other companies had quoted on the phone and weren’t able to do for weeks or for one company, in the fall, as that company didn’t want to do Attic work in the summer? Another company didn’t respond at all.I would highly recommend Roberts Electric. Thank you guys.

After initial contact with Roberts electric I was ghosted. I don't know if my job was too small or too big. I only needed a microwave installed above the stove in a new build home. Remove current fan replace with new microwave. Before I was not contacted anymore I received an email about the job could require damaging backsplash wiring is unknown, blah, blah, blah. What? it's a new build what would be unknown new home should be up to code. Backsplash should not need to be damaged.Anyways, this business didn't give me the courtesy of replying they couldn't or wouldn't do the job. I guess business is good when you can just not contact customer inquires. I won't be contacting Roberts electric again unprofessional.

Installed 13 pot lights for us. Showed up on-time for the quote, showed up on-time for the work, were very personable and polite, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves! Would not hesitate to use them again!

I used Robert's Electric to make some general wiring repairs in my home as well as install a new electrical panel. The technicians did a great job, were timely, and everything works to boot! I will continue to use their services whenever I need electrical repairs.
