The guys at SSC were very helpful in guiding me through the buying process to help me find a great sail for my deck. More importantly they helped me virtually with the install making sure I had the right stuff to get it set up. The sail is VERY high quality and has stood up to a few storms already without so much as a whimper. Can’t hardly wait to buy my next sail to help make my setup complete.

I was looking for a shade solution for our south facing, full-sun 3rd story walk out, and when I found a made-in-Canada product - Shade Sails Canada. From reading about their shade sails on their website I determined that our existing pergola structure would not allow us to use sails. However, the company also offered standard and custom Roman Shades, and these turned out to be a great solution for us.One of the best things was that I was able to speak and share drawings with Mack in Shade Sail customer/technical service, who answered my questions and offered helpful advice on installation. I was able to specify a custom size and select a custom colour (Aquatic Blue) at a very reasonable cost compared to other US based companies. We are very hands on so had no problems installing the roman shades on our pergola. We needed extra-long welded eye bolts because our pergola had double beams, which Shade Sails supplied at no extra cost. Production and delivery of the shades was fast.Overall we are very happy with our roman shade from Shade Sails Canada and highly recommend them.Note that the photos were taken in the morning before the sun was overhead.

We love our shade sail! The material is high quality and durable, filtering the sun but allowing cool breezes to come through. We purchased some hardware from Shade Sails Canada as well and and the quality was outstanding! The company offers an amazing array of helpful videos and tutorials. Our emails were answered promptly and courteously, no question too big or too small. We were nervous about flying our sail but a company rep talked us through it on the phone and we couldn't be happier.

Ordering was simple and hassle free. Quality is superb.Most importantly, the customer service is beyond excellent. I called two years after ordering because I broke a clip (my own clumsiness) and couldn't find any.I got disconnected before I could talk to anyone, and they called back right away, put me in touch with the right people, and solve my problem within an hour (including sending a couple emails to show the clip).

Great support through the whole process of designing and ordering and great video tutorials for installation. I ordered roman shades and a shade panel for a pergola I built, as a custom order and Shade Sails Canada was excellent to deal with. It was easy to order and it fits perfectly due to their help. The quality of the shade is excellent so I can see why it has a 10 year guarantee. I particularly like the stainless steel hardware on the Roman Shades as they are pulleys whereas most manufacturers seem to simply use carabiner type clips which have some friction on the cables. We are delighted with the end result as it gives us a super easy option to have an open pergola or full or partial shade.
