The food at 17 restaurant was simply marvelous. We ordered, and the food was out very quickly, even though the restaurant was decently busy. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. I highly recommend getting the special house sauce on the burger. The French fries were also incredible good. Overall, I'd say that I would go over 100 miles out of my way to eat here.

This place is fantastic and a real find outside of Sudbury on the TransCanada. Great food, excellent service, large portions, very economical. Highly recommend stopping in. Schnitzel is particularly good (and massive!)

We ordered fish & chips and also pickerel dinner with sweet potato fries and everything was amazing. The cole slaw was delicious so creamy not yucky vinegar tasting. The beautiful woman was on top of everything cleaning tables, taking our orders, serving it and everything was hot. If ever I’m blind river again, we’ll definitely drop in again for delicious food. Thank you

I was here for dinner and came back the next morning for breakfast. The food was great. For dinner I had the Shepherd's Pie and bacon and eggs for breakfast. Both the evening and breakfast servers were very friendly and attentive.

Very reasonably priced meals that were tasty. Location is a bit old but clean. It's wasn't super busy but there seemed to be a lag in the service. I ordered a rueban with poutine. The rueban was ok... It was on excellent tasting gluten free bread. Had to ask for mustard twice and got charged 50 cents for 1/2 filled container of 1000 Island dressing. A bit disappointing... But the poutine made up for it. It was amazing!!! My mom had the mushroom mozzarella burger as d she said it was tasty and would prefer it again.Rueban $6Poutine $3.50Mozz mushroom burger & fries $14

This place is a gem. Good good, varied menu, reasonable prices. Definitely not a short order fast food burger joint....2 of us ate a full entree of delicious meat with fresh veg and the bill came to under $45!

Waited in line today with several others, we all eventually walked out from being ignored. Yes, they were busy but simply ignoring us at the entrance is telling myself and others you don't care and you don't want our business. Sadly, this was my go to restaurant in Blind River. Good news, I found a much better and much more welcoming restaurant in Blind River also on Hwy 17 just down the road at the motel. Great gourmet food too.

My favourite restaurant, great service, portions and prices. I've been here many times and I'm a fan of the sandwich menu and great breakfast. They also have the option of home bread, definitely recommend.
