I took my Mom's Havanese Yorkie to Anna for the best haircut of his life! He is a very difficult breed to groom and she did an AMAZING job! He was getting compliments from across the street! Years later I finally got a Havanese Yorkie of my own and there was nobody else that I trusted more for her first puppy cut! I am a professional dog trainer, and my pup means the world to me. My puppy was matted due to the heat and a huge mess, and as always, Anna was a miracle worker! She took her time and gave a very clean and precise shave for such a squirmy puppy! She even took on extra clients during the heat wave to save as many lives as she could! Highly recommended! Thank you for caring so much about your clients!

Do NOT leave your pet here, it’s not safe. Leave a detailed Google review of your experience, and call the SPCA to make a report. The more of us who report what we’ve experienced, the greater the likelihood that appropriate action will be taken.In my own experience, the owner is rough with the dogs and yells at them. She sells expired and freezer burned dog food, tries to manipulate you into buying things you don’t need, and will try to make you pay a higher price for grooming than what was previously negotiated. Our dog came back from grooming uncharacteristically fearful and upset. The owner’s response? She tried to sell us expensive CBD oil to deal with the “problem”. The real problem is that this business is still in operation.

Absolutely fantastic and grooming! They special order my dog food in as well and remember who I am which makes me feel special. I highly recommend this place!

AMAZING PLACE! Everyone I’ve met are friendly and helpful, and I feel they do their best to keep prices as low as possible. The owner rocks. Stop on by.

EDIT: In response to the owners response. There is not a word of truth to it, can't believe they won't own up to it and instead decide to gaslight and call me abusive. Thankfully I recorded the entire interaction, I have a witness and I took her straight to the vet afterwards. I will be following up with the authorities and animal protection until this is resolved. The younger staff member who works there was lovely and no one verbally abused her. DON'T TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE.I now believe every single bad review for this business. My daughter and I dropped off our 12 week old Labradoodle at 11AM this morning for an appointment to get washed and groomed. The young woman who met us at the front was very nice and we thought it was going to be a great first grooming experience for our puppy. She said it would take 2 hours and she would call when she was close to being finished. We came back to the store just before 1PM to get her because we were in the area and I had another appointment. When I asked how she was doing, a very irate owner came out and told me it was going to be 4 hours and she had not even started yet. She then proceeded to chew out the young woman for giving me the wrong timeframe. I said ok, let me call my husband and see what we can coordinate so one of us can come back and get her. I made my call and when I went back to talk to her again, my daughter and I saw her slam a small dog down on the grooming table with another female groomer and was raising her voice with the dog saying get down" "stay down" "stop being so damn difficult". It doesn't take 2 women to hold down a dog that small and the dog appeared to be terrified. We then saw the other woman throw a dog into a cage and my dog was in the corner of her cage cowering. My daughter 10 year old started crying and I went back up to the front. The young woman tried to apologize and I said "This isn't your fault

I've not actually entered this store, however I am concerned by a little kitten running around loose in the store. The open sign is off and the front door is locked but the security gate is open. There is a super cute kitten interacting with anyone walking by at the front of the store. We've been outside the store for a good half hour and not seen any sign someone is here. Maybe someone is in there and letting a single kitten have run of the store but that seems unusual .I hope these kitten has at least access to food and water and a litter box ideally...

I am greatly troubled by the conditions in which the budgies at this store are kept in. Firstly, the cage itself is located right in a window, leaving the birds unprotected from harassment after hours. Secondly, the cage is barren of enrichment aside from a dirty mirror (mirrors are well-known to cause psychological/behavioural issues in parrots) and a dull wooden item. Budgies, like all parrots, are highly intelligent animals, and thus a lack of stimulating enrichment is very unhealthy for them. Lastly, the cage floor is very dirty. I own budgies myself and know that that level of fecal matter and spilt feed does not accumulate in just a day. I first took notice of the pair on August 22nd of this year (where I learned they had been at the store for months), and the conditions they are kept in have not changed or improved since that encounter. This sort of treatment and display, along with being blatant neglect, does not give a good idea to potential buyers of what appropriate budgie husbandry is.

I have taken my dog Rosie to Anna for the last couple of years. One thing never changes - Anna is always very pleasant and professional and she does a great job. Rosie is always excited when she arrives and we are always thrilled when we pick her up. I highly recommend Urban Pets and Anna.

I cannot tell you how many groomers we have take our Shorkie to only for her to come back with some sort of missing feature. Not at Urban Pets. Every time our Joba puppy goes in, she comes out cuter with all her features in tact as desired.
