Bob's A - Z Rentals

Absolutely ridiculous.... Small town company BIG TIME CHARGES!!I rented a prybar and a small tamper on Saturday. Did not get back on time for close on same day. This company was closed on Sunday so I could not return it the next morning on Sunday. So I was there at opening Monday Morning. So they charged me for 2 days, there was no negotiation on this. HOME DEPOT has treated me far better. Thought I would buy local as I just moved to Maple Ridge, Don't expect any neighbourly help from this company folks

poor customer service. they will be quick to make a sale, but when the machine has a defect, they brush you off and don't even give you 5 min of their time to even look at it and just say its 4 weeks wait till we can even look at it and don't know if its covered. You will NOT get any more of my business. And that is not how to treat a customer who has an issue with a $1k item that is 3 months old. You have work for 4 weeks out...great...good for you....won't be any from me!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCEI rented a bobcat from Bob's A-Z rentals ​this past weekend. The entire experience from my first phone call to returning the product was horrible.I called several times to work out the details and ask a few questions and the person on the phone was not very helpful or pleasant.When we arrive to get the Bobcat one of the people that worked there drove it up to our trailer and proceeded to load it onto the trailer without being asked to do so. In the process he fell off the ramps 2 times trying to get it loaded and bent the frames that hold the ramps when traveling. When we got the bobcat home and were unloading we noticed that the Cutting Edge was worn out so badly it was basically non-existent. There were no corners it was almost worn right into the bucket Edge. We could not return it as it was Saturday afternoon and they were closed until Monday morning. So we used it as is it was, it very difficult trying to lift sod and dirt with that edge. It took twice as long as it should have and we didn't end up with a very good finished project.I returned the Bobcat at 8 a.m. on Monday as required. One of the workers came out and as he proceeded to unload the Bobcat from my trailer he told me that they are not allowed to load or unload other people's trailers. I told him about the edge on the bobcat(he chuckled) and the fact that when we picked it up someone did load it and did break Parts on our trailer. He just said, well we aren't allowed to load people's trailers unless it was the owner maybe. As he was unloading the bobcat(something he wasn't supposed to do) he became stuck on the bumper and proceeded to drag the trailer and my truck trying to get it unstuck. I was yelling at him to stop but he just kept going. Eventually when that didn't work he stopped, turned the wheels sharply and scratched the end of my trailer getting unstuck.I then went in to clear up the bill and again tried to tell the lady at the counter about the damages and the fact we never asked anyone to load or unload for us. She said we don't do that because we are not liable for damages. Then proceeded to act like I didn't say anything.They didn't do anything about the damages or even discount due to the fact there was no cutting edge on the bucket. On top of that I had to pay 40.00 in diesel for a job that should have taken half the time.

Very rude and unaccommodating!When reserving party rentals for a corporate event, Bob's A-Z Rentals made us pay up front for rental tables and chairs 2 months in advance, then refused to change the date or issue a refund when given 3+ weeks notice of change!Nothing in contract terms states there are no refunds or cancelations, and yet they still wouldn't allow changes or refunds. The lady on the phone was very rude to myself and my co-worker when we called as well.

Terrible customer service! Staff are very rude! Went to go pick up a pre paid item that was $20 bucks giving my husband name # our address even got my husband to call the store because we didn’t have an invoice #. They really need to have a better filing system to help them manage the inventory that’s coming in or going out. So they don’t have to be so rude to their paying customers. Last time I go to this location….. all this just for a filter

Rented a PW that had no pressure. Called them and let them know. The head counter lady blamed me saying all equipment is tested before it goes back into rentals.Either her or the company needs to retire.

Best rentals place around their quick n efficient

Just watched one of your trucks drive up onto the sidewalk to get around a car then come within inches of causing an accident by going when they shouldn’t be.

I wish I could give them a minus or a zero. They rent out old toils that are on their last leg. The technician has admitted to not being able to get a tool going prior to renting it. When we rented a compressor and brought it back 2 hours later because it wouldn't run we were told by the insanely rude front staff that it's our problem and we would be charged for breaking it. Home depot is nuch better and offer an insurance on the tools. Don't ever rent from them! You will regret it!!
