Birthday dinner tonight with family - absolutely AMAZING food, service, drinks, and atmosphere. Was so enthralled with being in the moment, forgot to take any pics!We had steak, short ribs, duck, and a scallop risotto - everyone throughly enjoyed their meals! The crackling fires really added to the ambiance! Our server was SO friendly and kind! I wish I lived closer and could come more regularly!

Over the years we have enjoyed many wonderful stays up at Storm Mountain Lodge and our visit yesterday and last night was again exceptional! The new owners have kept the exacting high standards of quality and excellence in both the log cabins as well as the fine dining restaurant. Our Cabin & Cuisine adventure was made memorable with some of the best beef carpaccio I have enjoyed in recent years and my husband had the duck while I had the pork entree - both had an array of perfectly prepared vegetables and very creative sauces to accompany each dish.We shared their cheesecake served in a glass and it made for a delightful end to the 3-course meal, included in this limited time offer which might end on May 15th. After which the full spring to summer season begins. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet on our deck, the soft music in the lounge and exploring their small gift shop before departing. A great romantic getaway!

Not bad. If you like a simple rustic lodge with basic facilities, it might be interesting for you. If you are looking for something more comfortable, I don’t suggest it. We didn’t have hot water and housekeeper came at 8 am tomorrow, while we were leaving.

This post is about the restaurant, we did not stay in the cabins. Absolutely delicious food. The carrot lentil soup was an offhand choice that turned out to be the star of the show. Had the Game Burger (Elk + Bison) which was flavorful and well balanced. Waitress had great wine recommendations to pair with our meal. Staff was very friendly. The chef’s abilities were very impressive. The intense rustic vibe made the experience very enjoyable, especially for someone from downtown Chicago! If you call you can make a reservation - you don’t need to be staying onsite.Check it out!

The cabins probably feel cozy in colder weather, our cabin was very cramped and dark and we felt poor value for money. Not even a complimentary bottle of water in cabin and as there are no tea/ coffee making facilities in the cabin, we felt that would have been a nice touch. ( We knew facilities where minimal and we thought eco) tea coffee available from main cabin when needed. Staff friendly and chatty and food in the restaurant above average quality. One of the reasons we picked this place. Very comfy bed.

We came in for a birthday dinner. Paige was our server. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Paige helped me with all the vegan options on the menu. After dinner we sat next to the fire place for desert and a night cap. Beautiful place. Excellent service

The location is fantastic, close to many highlights in Banff. The lodge itself is fine, the bathroom was very nice and enjoyed a nice hot bath. For 350+ CAD/night, wifi and a microwave should be included. The bed was also too small, not long enough. Also bit annoying there was no room on both sides of the bed, one person always has to climb over the other person to get out of bed. The location is great, but I would stay somewhere else and drive 20minutes longer everyday

My wife and I stayed here for a few days in later January 2023 and it was the highlight of our trip. Marble Canyon was a great nearby hike. We ate at the lodge both nights and it’s the most unassuming 5 star restaurant you will find. The food was incredible. Great place to unwind and disconnect. Cabins are cozy and have everything you need and love the fireplaces!

Amazing experience. Gorgeous and quaint little cabins with wood burning fireplaces. Probably the best dinner my partner and I have had to date. The house old fashioned was incredible.Dog friendly and well kept. Couldn’t recommend more.

We stayed for 3 nights and we were very disappointed with the cleanliness of our cabin. The floor was soiled with a layer of dirt and grime and was unsanitary, underneath our bed the floor was filthy. A layer of dust and dirt coated most horizontal surfaces, for over $400.00 per night this is unacceptable. We had, nor were we offered any housekeeping during the 4 day stay, the firewood was not replenished. The lighting in our cabin was abysmal, 1 dirty low wattage light fixture in the centre that provided a dismal orange glow to the cabin, the wall sconces were also filthy and low wattage, our bed made an awful sound and was too small for two people. During our stay there was heavy rainfall that turned all the cabin footpaths into a slippery muddy mess so in fact the walk from the parking lot to the cabin was downright dangerous, no handholds and exposed tree roots to watch out for. The first step up to our cabin was too high to step up without assistance, not suitable for anyone elderly or with mobility issues. The location was amazing however the noise of semi trucks roaring past our cabin within 50 feet spoiled the ambiance.Sorry to write such a negative review but the property needs some major work to bring it up to reasonable standards of cleanliness and safety. The restaurant was fabulous and we had a spectacular meal, one of our party was a trained Chef from Europe and said it was one of the best meals that he had ever had. Too bad no reasonable breakfast and lunch options are available.
