We have been going to Steve for years. He designed and maintains my engagement ring. He also restored my grandmothers pearl and tri coloured brooch. For our 30th wedding anniversary he designed a beautiful diamond and sapphire bangle that I wear all the time. This past Saturday I took my daughter to see him and he sized her engagement ring in a couple of hours. We had expected to leave it for a few days but when he heard that she was having engagement pictures done on Sunday he had it done on the same day. Many thanks Steve!

Stephen did some repair work for me that was excellent, so when my then fiance and I were looking for wedding bands earlier this year, I didn't hesitate to contact Stephen. We are so glad I did! Stephen has repaired and made numerous pieces of jewelry for my family and I. The latest work was to incorporate diamonds from a set of earrings that my wife no longer wears with a diamond from her engagement ring to make a new ring. It turned out beautiful!!!!! We presented Stephen with the difficult task of turning a delicate bracelet into a pair of earrings that would incorporate the pavé pebbles in a creative fashion. Our expectations were surpassed as Stephen finished the work sooner than estimated, at a reasonable price, but most of all when we were handed the stunning pair seen in this photo. Stephen is a true artist and is very knowledgeable in many fields outside of his expertise. His integrity is exemplary and his attention to detail remarkable. We feel we have not only found a superb goldsmith but also a genuine, caring human being; one with whom would wish to remain friends as well.

We have absolutely loved working with Stephen! He created a new wedding band for my husband to help me surprise him after 25 years...it was perfect. Further to this, he re-stored my wedding rings and re-built my wedding band...he exceeded my expectations and didn't stop until the rings were more than perfect. I am so very delighted to have met Stephen Fortner! I wanted to repurpose some of my jewellery so I could modernize and consolidate sentimental gems. Stephen created a stunning pair of diamond ear rings that I would never have been able to find in any jewellery store anywhere. His craftsmanship, attention to detail and pride in his work was evident in our discussion about the project and in his delight in the finished product. I am ecstatic with my custom designed ear rings that include the diamonds from sentimental, outdated pieces. I can't wait to see the results of our next project.
