We were able to find a great deal on canadian made boots from Kamik. They had a great selection of shoes from New Balance, Adidas, Keens, Saucony, Reebok ....

My daughter was hired at the Pen location. She was available immediately to work, and did so, despite having very little notice. She was hired quite quickly, pressumably to facilitate the back to school rush. Prior to her hiring, she had already made plans for a weekend retreat with a group that she's very committed to. Thinking it wouldn't be a problem, with several weeks of advance notice, she requested she not be scheduled for that particular weekend. Within a week, her hours we peeled back, and then eventually she was dropped from the schedule altogether. It turns out she had been fired. The reason given? She was asked to work weekends, to which she agreed, but then had the nerve to request a weekend off. The gaul of a 16 year old to not be unflinchingly committed to a part-time, shoe store job! May have great shoes, but do not seek employment. Clearly these people have no ability to evaluate personnel. Just pathetic!
