Rabbitats

This is a volunteer run rescue shelter. The poor rabbits need a safe place to live, however lack of funds and volunteers makes operation difficult. Rabbits deserve more space and proper care. Rabbitats try their best but can only do so much with little resources and 100s of rabbits that need help.

Rabbitats is a group of hard-working and dedicated volunteers that do so much for the bunnies of the Lower Mainland! I am continually impressed by their volunteer efforts and how much they truly care for the bunnies. You will not meet a group of more friendly people! I've adopted 3 bunnies from them and enjoy volunteering at the shelter in Richmond. :)

We went to London farm family festival and joined the bunny event today. And my 2 year old daughter was just opening and closing the roof of a small house with hinges, it wasn't strongly. Then, one lady started YELLING at her, and my daughter was frightened and froze. My daughter tried to apologize but she kept yelling. We talked to the lady calmly about her attitude later, but she didn't care at all. Even more, the other lady told us we're already stressed out

We booked a Meet + Treat" event with Rabbitats for our daughter's 5th birthday at the end of August. Stephanie came to our backyard with lots of bunnies

Back in early May, we were fortunate to have Stephanie, of Rabbitats, visit us along with 14 of her bunnies! Everyone was mindful of cleanliness and distancing. My family and I were safe and comfortable. Fresh selection of vegetables were provided for us to feed to the bunnies but what was interesting was that bunnies love fresh picked dandelions! It was our first experience with Rabbitats' services and it will not be the last. During these trying times, it was great to receive Stephanie, her family and organizations compassion for coming out a long distance from their location in Richmond, so that our daughter could experience the bunnies' visit and the everlasting memories created. We experienced 'Popcorn' jumping!!! Thank you Stephanie and family! Thank you Rabbitats for what you are all about. Will visit you when Dr Bunnie Henry allows... Bless you all.

Rabbitats goes above and beyond to help abandoned and feral domestic rabbits! When I found a dumped fluffy little bunny looking very lost in a park, I tried calling every other agency I could think and was told they couldn't or wouldn't help. I ended up keeping the bunny but Rabbitats helped me to make sure the little guy was healthy (exam, vaccines, neuter) and taught me about proper care (diet, housing, handling). And 3 years later, anytime I've had a question or concern, they offer support. They truly, truly care about the welfare of these unique creatures. A worthy organization to support, either by donating or volunteering time.

Had the pleasure of meeting dear Stephanie and all of rabbitat’s amazing bunnies for my daughter’s birthday party. We had an awesome time with them and all the kids couldn’t stop talking about their memorable experience with the bunnies. Stephanie has been so thoughtful and great with communicating with me and in arranging an special day for my daughter and all her 20 friends. She also gave her a beautiful birthday card and a cute stuffed bunny which she takes with her everywhere.Overal it was an unforgettable experience.

Do not use Rabbitats. The probability of dissapointment is high. A year ago, we booked Rabbitats for a birthday party and they cancelled an hour before the party to the disappointment of our daughter and the other kids. Now, it is a year later and summer time. Our daughter's summer camp booked Rabbitats to keep the camp kids busy for the day...and they cancelled AGAIN at the last minute. I'm sure if they actually show up, the day will be great. But they have a 100% failure rate in my book.

Rabbitats is a wonderful organization with the most dedicated and caring volunteers. The abandoned (and feral) rabbits of Richmond and beyond would be forgotten if it weren't for Rabbitats caring and advocating for them. I have personally adopted three rabbits from Rabbitats, and I am so thankful to them for my sweet babies.

Thank you, Rabbitats for being there for so many abandoned and feral bunnies! They have made such a nice bunny habitat in Richmond at which the rescued bunnies stay, while awaiting possible homes. (I just went to see it today.)This is the place to go, if considering adopting! Bunnies make wonderful pets.
