Amazing gym. Clean and very friendly staff. Open 24hours and as a woman i feel safe using the gym during those odd hours due to their excellent security access to the facility itself. I have been using the Newton location and it’s been awesome !

Just a heads up to anyone who is thinking about signing up here, I suggest you weigh out the pros and cons before signing a contract.The good:- The gym was clean during the few drop-in workouts I had here.- Decent sized and fairly well equipped for the space.- The 24/7 access is nice, if you really need a place to go that's open outside regular gym hours.The bad:- Number 1 is the price. I was told trial passes are not available at this location, which was a let down. Then I saw the promotional price" of $70 A MONTH

Was a member since they opened. My account was frozen for reasons which couldn’t be explained to me. Fees were added without telling me. When I tried to regain my contract, they refused to give me the price I was paying prior. They did not provide me with any options aside from choosing another gym.Probably for the best. One of the most disorganized gyms I had been going to. Weights all over the place and in wrong places all the time. Staff spends their time chit chatting in the office. I spent half my time at this gym picking up weights off the ground or searching the whole gym for them. There is different staff all the time who are not personable. This gym has gone in the wrong direction since opening. Take your business elsewhere.*edit*If more than a few reviews are saying the same thing about the cleanliness of your gym, chances are it is an exact reflection of your business. Be accountable.

Good gym at Newton centre.Morning time and evening time it gets very crowded, so you might not be able to use your favourite machine for exercise or workout.

I’ve been going to the Newton gym since before they renovated and I’ve seen a great improvement in the gym facility! Staff are friendly and always willing to help. Personal trainers are also very personable & great! I see the trainers training their clients and they’re always put through a great workout! Newton AF truly feels like a home gym! Thanks Newton AF team for creating such a motivating and friendly environment for us!

Its overall disappointing. Staff are ok. Not the best gym around. Wish I knew this before I joined and got locked in a contract for a year.Example: their 3rd party payment company tried taking money off my bank account. Bank flagged it as fraud. But instead of resolving the issue in a professional way. They charge me extra fees and take money again within 2 days. And hey surprisingly, when they charge the extra fee, they were able to take money off the account right away.When I called to verify and inquire, there is not even a manager to talk to on a Monday afternoon.

This is a fantastic gym! All the staff and members are super nice and make you feel welcomed and comfortable to workout. The facility is kept very clean and there is a large variety of high quality machines and weights to choose from. I would definitely recommend this gym to others!

They are robbers! They cajole and put their best smiling faces forward to lock you into a 2 year contract. The youngsters keep you engaged in pep-talk while walking you through your membership. They convince you to sign up for a two year contract, without an exit option (they won’t tell you if you don’t ask).Personally paying over $24 bi weekly for services I ceased using 1.5 year ago. When I requested an exit, a doctors letter saying “exercising at a gym is detrimental to your health” was requested. They continue to charge me to date with no follow up whatsoever.Don’t sign up with these guys. They are daylight robbers with a very mediocre gym and even more novice trainers. Rather a ‘club 16’ or anyone else that charges $9.90 bi-weekly. And a 30 day notice exit policy. No questions asked.Anytime Fitness is extortion.
