March 29, 2023 I ordered Barbecue Pork Chow Mein and it was delivered to my vehicle in less than 10 minutes.After making the 15 minute drive home it was still steaming hot.Withstand doubt it was one of the best Chow Mein I have ever tasted.

I hate to say it but WORST food ever. I've eaten Asian foods in many different places and this is the most bland greasy of them all. The fried dumplings were hard and chewy....disgusting. The Almond chicken was over-fried, dry and tasteless. The other two dishes equally as bland and greasy greasy greasy. Hey Jackies.....if your gonna charge big bucks for noodles and rice....you better cook it right and make it taste phenomenal. The restaurant business is stiff competition and most people won't complain, they will just NEVER COME BACK. Take heed.

On our way home from vacation we decided to stay in Castlegar for the evening. We looked up the reviews for best Chinese food, and Jackie's did not disappoint!I love Chinese food and I can honestly say this may be the best and freshest, I have ever had! Veggies were crisp, meat was tender, and everything was so flavourful!100% recommend:)

Ordered spring rolls and vegetable chowmein from Jacky's. I'll start with the spring rolls which were amazing! Flavorful, crispy, large and filling. I was not disappointed by these spring rolls and would order them again in a heartbeat. The chowmein was good. Noodles had flavor and were not undercooked. The portion was large although a tad on the pricey side I enjoy them. The vegetables were very large and chunky, would love to see something a little smaller but that's a small detail.Overall, I'm very happy with my meal from here and would order again.

We tried Jacky's for the first time tonight and we'll definitely be back! Generous serving portions, delicious and flavorful food and THE best ginger beef. They even give you extra spicy sauce if it's not spicy enough for you. Excellent service as well, very fast turnaround from order to pick up. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Great food, good size portions and reasonable prices. We finally found good Ginger Beef in the Kootenays. Tried a few highly rated chinese restaurants in Nelson and were very disappointed with the food. Jacky's will be our favorite chinese food resturant from now on. Great job! Keep it up. I recommend this restaurant and encourage people to try it out.

Decided to try this new Chinese restaurant in town & I'm thrilled with the outcome! Reasonably priced, amazing quality of food & good sized portions. I definitely recommend this place if your in town looking for great Chinese food!

It was good in the past but they have changed by putting mostly celery as a vegetable in their house special chow mein, it’s too expensive for getting mostly celery as a vegetable in this dish.
