We want to sincerely thank Heartwood and the whole team of management and installers. Mepla from Heartwood kitchen & bath was very approachable, engaging and gave us first rate service. We are very happy with management and team especially given the attention to detail and follow up service throughout our kitchen & laundry room renos. The team was there every step of the way. Although every reno comes with some unforeseen issues, Mepla, the team and installers stepped up to the plate and worked to ensure we had complete satisfaction with our kitchen and laundry room renos. They came back twice to make sure all deficiencies were addressed and fixed to our complete satisfaction. Thanks Mepla, and the team for everything you did for us. You walked us through the process all the way from start to finish, we were completely satisfied which made the project enjoyable and pretty much stress free. I wanted to give an update of my situation.I have to inform you that the door panels are cracked as well, not one but all of them. It seems that the door panels were not primed prior to the one coat of lacquer coat Heartwood applied.Neither the contractor nor David got back to me to address the issue. The only solution the contractor suggested 3 months ago was to do only the corners that were chipped. I wonder what they would do now that all the cabinets are getting cracked. It was my mistake to have trusted the contractor. Whoever is reading this I would be grateful if you could help and advise what is the next step I should take. Do I sue them or GOPublic or both?BTW, I have the proof where the contractor stated that another Heartwood client had the same issue and contacted him to have the cabinetry fixed.ThanksI opted Heartwood because of its high quality cabinetry and great feedback. Unfortunately, after six months my cabinetry doors' paint are cracking and falling off. and the side panels have a long crack as well. I notified my contractor whom David referred me to and I was told that it is normal for those cracks to happen. I inquired from another cabinet maker and I was told I need to look for redress because it should not be like that. I am very disappointed to David response though the contractor is doing his best to resolve this issue.

I worked with Mepla, the Kitchen Designer from Heartwood, for my kitchen renovation this summer. It turned into a very pleasant experience. She was very thoughtful, paid very detailed attention, and took our concerns into serious considerations. She addressed our questions very promptly and always provided professional opinions. All the efforts, along with the team led by Hai, turns out a very positive and amazing outcome. We are very happy with our new kitchen and have referred her to my friends.

Heartwood completely transformed my kitchen. Mepla was a pleasure to work with in the design process. She was thorough, attentive to detail and provided recommendations based on her many years of experience in the industry. A few hiccups during the installation process, but Mepla and her team came back several times to address any deficiencies and concerns that I had.

Mepla and her team of expert cabinet installers transformed our kitchen into everything we asked for. The attention to detail and problem solving they brought to this job was more than we ever knew we would need. Pleasant to have around and always available we cannot recommend Heartwood enough. We are thrilled with our new kitchen.

I had a bad experience dealing with David, I believe he is the owner of the business. He doesn’t keep his word/fulfill his promise and he keeps changing the quotes. He doesn’t give clarity on what he calculated even if you ask multiple times. He gave me a quote of $2500 to supply/install quartz countertop. I saw him at the showroom 3 weeks ago and he said the price went up. But when I showed him the layout and the price he quoted me before ($2500), he said he would honour that. He also took a copy of the layout/quote. I went to see him today to finalize the deal and pay a deposit, he said he can’t find my copy, and the price went up. He jacked up the price to $4800! No eye contact, and no explanation was given except that the price was increased!No I don’t recommend this company at all, no credibility and unprofessional.

Mepla from Heartwood cabinets was professional, accommodating and honest. Dealing with Mepla was the highlight of our renovation. We are very pleased with the product and would highly recommend this company and cabinetry.

I recently purchased Fotile range hood from Heartwood. Mepla was very helpful and she explained all the models and functions in detail. It was a pleasant shopping experience.
