Two Men and a Truck

Very easy to work with, was able to quickly get a quote and book a moving day. Movers were professional and friendly. Overall, very satisfied and I would definitely recommend their services.

Moved my household items from a Bradford home into a storage locker in st. Thomas in 2017. The Movers were very friendly and seemed great loading from house to truck. I even gave one of the young men some of my furniture because he was just starting out on his own. I sent a ton of old blankets and real shipping blankets along to protect my furniture. I Started to empty my storage locker recently in 2022. My storage locker is a mess. Wood furniture on top of furniture without any protection. Move/remove something, and it’s a furniture avalanche. Gave them all a big cash tip too! SO much of my furniture is damaged, cracked, scratched and squished. Even some of my packed boxes were empty, and contents were loose at the bottom of my locker. Broken mess galore. I’m very disappointed that I spent all the money on the move, and the shipping. The guys that moved me seemed very efficient and very pleasant at the Bradford end but not at this end in St. Thomas. My locker was not broken into as nothing is missing and both dead bolts were still intact and attached. Clearly your records are incorrect. Certainly don’t appreciate your denial or you passing the buck

I used this company based on two recommendations and was very disappointed. While they were careful with my furniture, they marked up the walls of our NEW house pretty badly. And I'm not talking scuff marks, I'm talking dings! I'm also not happy with how they handled the boxes. Putting 3 banana boxes full of books on top of a bin (now partly collapsing) that was marked fragile (at this time, I am not certain the items made it). I instructed them not to move anything that they couldn't protect, but they moved another bin without a lid and put two heavy boxes right no top! ...my daughter's art work / pottery is destroyed!They also forgot the washer and dryer when they left so I had to pay them to go back and get it. You would think that the company would instruct it's employees to give the homeowner the contact information so that we could have reached them to tell them they had forgotten these heavy items and not have wasted my time and money going back for a third round trip!They also didn't follow instructions, as I told them to ONLY take the furniture and boxes. I didn't accompany them on the second trip, and my husband was busy getting the washer and dryer ready to move, so we didn't realize they packed up and move EVERYTHING and brought it over to our new place! ...all the stuff that was meant to go to goodwill! What a waste of time and money!They also insisted on bagging our mattresses, even though their truck was clean and my mattresses were covered in dust from a reno! They charged $15/bed, and insisted on using them because they said it made it easier for them to move the mattresses (I move mattresses to the cottage and have never needed to cover them to pick them up!).All in all, they worked hard, but I wouldn't recommend them. The move should have been 8.5 (as per the original quote) hours - if they hadn't forgotten the washer/dryer and hadn't moved all the stuff for goodwill that wasn't in boxes (as instructed) it would have saved me almost $400! I felt nickeled and dimed with an admin fee, $50 cleaning fee, $45 in mattress bags (should have been $30 as I supplied the King mattress cover). Not to mention, the driver spend a LOT of time folding up the packing blankets in between the two truck loads, only to have to unfold them to reuse them at the other side - it just seemed like they were job extending and HE in particular was being lazy instead of helping carry the boxes!I feel that a 3 star is VERY generous for my rating. Particularly given that i have called the company and emailed them, with no response. When I filled out their survey, I called the costumer service number provided and she said she would have someone get back to me. I haven't heard anything, but presumably he will want to speak to the movers first before returning my call.

My move went great, Jan at the office is a pleasure to work with she makes the move easy and care free. The two movers Mike and Brad were great everything carefully wrapped and cared for. They were very fast and friendly also I would recommend this company to anyone that cares for their items. Very reasonably priced as well. no games at the end of the move either just your bill you expected. Save your back and hire these professionals.Highly recommend.

I didn't realize that Two Men and a Truck are so much more than the services traditionally promoted by their company. The office staff couldn't have been more helpful and supportive. The Moving Team were very polite, and looked professional wearing company clothing, Their attitude was courteous and they made the move less stressful. All items were treated with care and everything arrived at the new home safe and sound. I will certainly use them again in the future and refer the company to others. Fantastic experience with Two Men and a Truck from start to finish. Professional service from Ann Leland in the office with excellent communication. The movers were incredible! We have used other moving companies before but never had this level of service. The wrapping of our furniture and care they took with everything was fantastic. The guys were so fast and were almost running the whole time. I would highly recommend this company. Great experience, no damage and made our move much less stressful!

We recently moved and used the Newmarket location. The office contact was excellent and helpful; and the moving team were friendly, polite and awesome! I would highly recommend this location. ☺️
