Canadian Tire

The West Colona Canadian tire is much like other Canadian tires full of wonderful and amazing products from every discipline. There's always some event sales to be had if you do some digging. The one downside to this location is the management staff. Rude and condescending on a consistent basis It's an attitude that seems to perpetuate, Radiate from them to the other employees. Just like a Hydra you must kill the lead head in order to free the others from the enslavement of evil.. In fact I just order online now and pick up in store if I have to.

It is a good store. A little unorganized and the prices don't always match the item on the shelf so you have to do a bit of investigation. The staff will either honor the price that was in the area of the item or not depending on the staff member. They have some great stuff though and some amazing sales if you can find the item you are looking for

Purchased a generator here June 16th, utilized it once over the weekend and was unhappy with how loud it is. It's marketed at 54 decibles but under load is way more measured at 71-78 decibles. Knowing I didn't want it I placed it back in all its original packaging.I had a friend try and return it for me as I'd be out of town for a week and the store manager refused to take it, claimed all generator sales are final! Nowhere in Canadian tire policy is this stated.I personally attempted to return it on July 6th and the manager stated the same thing and said it was a directive from the GM of the store.Buyer beware, if your dissatisfied with a product from this store they may not adhere to their own return policy and back the products they sell. Additionally, after speaking with customer relations they also say there's nothing they can do.Shop elsewhere, Amazon would have taken it back without a hassle. Wish I didn't decide to support local on this one.This will be my last Canadian Tire purchase.

This paint is actually really good for the price it is. It paints well, doesn't run. And spray can was about 8 bucks, but then you can get a quart of it for 20bucks! Can't go wrong especially for the type of quality it has!

The dealer principle must have cash flowing out of him. Only store in the chain that has store hours of 9am to 6:30. What a joke. Oh well Kelowna Canadiantire will keep getting my business.

I have to give a huge shout out to this store specifically the seasonal department. For the 4th year I organize a Christmas fundraiser called Festival of Trees in my town of Grand Forks. I had to switch gears and go artificial trees this year and was desperate to buy 30 trees. After calling another Canadian Tire and being told very rudely no, I called this amazing store and the very next day traveled to pick up 30 trees with no hassles, friendly staff, and put my mind at ease. Thank you soooo very much!!!! You saved the fundraiser this year. Sharing the first step to the fundraiser....set up day.

Went into store and was chased down by employee and asked to handover my bag, not a backpack, a side bag. I followed in two women and a man all carrying bags, most bigger than mine. I understand the policy, but I refuse to shop at a place that demands you handover personal property, my wallet and other things were in bag, for the privilege of giving them your money.

The store of stores !!!Canadian Tire, has almost it all. Good place to buy tools ect and a great return policy. Master Craft screw drivers exchanged when something goes wrong !!!

[Update from 1-star to 2-stars. The situation has been alleviated somewhat by the installation of huge tower shelves on the west side of the store. Still lots of problems but hopefully management is working through them.]Boycott! Look at these photos. Wheelchairs and strollers not welcome! Someone with mobility issues should file a complaint with the Human Rights Commission. The manager must be a hoarder, because every aisle is always full of junk (every day, not just during seasonal changeovers) creating somewhere between an annoyance and safety issue, depending on the severity at any given time.(edit: The manager's response below is misleading; the issue is constant, every day, year-round, and is not a problem at the Kelowna, Penticton, and Vernon locations. There is something uniquely wrong here.)The As-Is" section (not to be confused with a normal Clearance section) should be called "broken junk you can't return that's taking up space in the store instead of being donated".
