Matt was great to deal with. The bikes were all newer and in good condition, and he helped us put together a trip that met our group's need for a trail section that was appropriate for a couple of infants on their first ever ride and rider with an all-terrain wheelchair.

I would absolutely recommend! Owner was very helpful and shared some of his biking stories!! The e-bikes were so much fun and a great way to see the beautiful views in the black hills. The price for 2 hours was very reasonable and would do it again in a heartbeat. Would encourage you to support your veterans and leave a tip!!

Matt was extremely communicative and helpful in mapping out our ride. Most other spots in town were booked up for a Saturday full day ride and this was a great decision! Bikes were solid and comfortable. We rented e-bikes for the Mickelson Trail from Deadwood to Rochford and absolutelyLOVED the ride. Would recommend Matt and Axbow to all. We will be back for SURE.

Fantastic experience throughout! Highly recommend Axbow! Will definitely return!Matt had bikes to fit the whole family and was extremely knowledgeable about the local area and history. He pointed out many cool sites and features to check out and explore.Very smooth rental process. We didn’t check out the electric bikes this time, but they are an intriguing option for a future visit.Thanks for the adventure, Matt!

Matt is the man. This rental for my mom and I, bikepacking the Mickelson Trail, was super easy to execute on, fairly priced, and timely in service. Plus, Matt was a pleasure to learn from on our shuttle back from Pringle. Thanks, Matt!

This place is top notch. The owner offered a free shuttle with our bike rental and we had a lovely 13 Mile downhill ride back to the rental shop complete with historic stops, a good burger, and beautiful nature along the way.We also rented SUPs and went to a local spot recommended by the shop owner. It was a fantastic experience.In both our bike and SUP rental we were given prices that beat the local competition.Further more, the owner is a combat vet and Patriot.Highly recommend!!!!

Excellent personalized customer service! We were able to pick the time for our departure of the shuttle to the trailhead and he even offered a better recommendation on which trailhead we should start with. It made a huge difference for us in enjoying our day and the experience on the Mickelson. Wishing good things for this local business- we will be back soon!

The owner, Matt was extremely exceptional to rent bike from. He was very knowledgeable and easy to get in touch with. Matt was very friendly and shared some of his experiences with my wife and I. If I was every to go back to Deadwood again, I would look him up.
