Abbotsford Urgent and Primary Care Centre

We had a fabulous experience at the urgent care in Abbotsford. The staff were amazing and the whole process went very efficiently! Shout out to Mairin, the nurse. She was friendly and made our whole experience so pleasant! Thanks again for all you did for us!

We had a great experience visiting Abbotsford Urgent and Primary Care. The registration & triage nurses were very caring and courteous and went above and beyond their call of duty. The attending doctor was knowledgeable and very pleasant. The facility is very clean and the wait time was much shorter than we anticipated. Highly recommended!

2.5 star ,,,, it’s good to have a place for urgent matters. Staff work hard( Doctors and nurses are a bit slow though ) ,,,,a bit stressful maybe more than hospital ( which it should be less but it’s more intense unfortunately) . Staff can bring down the tensions by lowering their voices when they talk to people and act not so intense. ( but they are working hard especially when busy )They seem worried about wrapping things up way before they close by pushing back a lot of patients as I usually observe. Fraser Health should supervise that so people don’t often get rejected or not seen by doctors.

Rude and unprofessional front desk.Came in sunday at 12:45 for bronchitis that wound up requiring antibiotics.The woman at the front desk wouldn't really listen to my symptoms, and flatly told me that they wouldn't start taking patients until 1PM, and she would prioritize me last, and expected there to be 40 people ahead of me.Save your time and Just go to the ER.It was very off-putting. I had a strong impression that patients are not triaged at all, and are seen in whatever order the woman at reception personally sees fit. The whole interaction frankly felt discriminatory.

Excellent services from the whole team! Thank you guys (and girls). I was quickly triaged. Team was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Keep up the great work! Nice seats too :)

Saturday Oct 29th 2022 I had gone into urgent care with my 2 year old who’s eye was very red, swollen, itchy, and had green goop coming from them to see a doctor as it was a Saturday and no other places were open except for ER.. I was met with the front staff asking for an appointment and if I had one. I had told them no I had no idea you needed one as I thought it was like a walk-in clinic but more serious things. Anyways I was sadly turned away with a phone number to call for virtual health. Called them and they were 0 help also. Called urgent care back to explain. Lara (Nurse) had talked to us that day and told me to call on Sunday to see if we can get an appointment for my son then. Called 25 times (NOT an exasperation) to get through. Impossible sadly.. so I drove in to see if we could see a doctor. Was finally told o could see one later this afternoon. Went home and came back at our appointment time to see Lara again! Lara is such a fantastic nurse who really listened to me about my son after the virtual care didn’t think anything was wrong. She didn’t make me feel silly for pushing to see a doctor for my son, she even took the time to chat with my son and explain what we were going to be doing so he wasn’t scared. We saw the doctor who told me what was wrong and gave some medication to help as he has been in so much pain. Coming out of the room we see Lara again! She talked to my son and made him laugh and smile. She was an absolute angel in such a bleh time when my son is not feeling well. I have nothing but great things to say about her and I hope she finds this just to see how much I appreciate her in our time of need! I do wish improvements for the telephones and also the appointments needed were possible. Other than that thank you Lara!

The brown woman with the short hair working at the front desk has an absolute disgusting attitude. As someone who also works in healthcare I am disappointed that she was the first impression of this clinic. I ended up leaving…

The name itself is a chaos, better rename non-urgent primary care centre. Took my 1 year old daughter there at 8:45am, my token number was 6. The registration and reception were done on timely manner and my daughter went as the 3rd patient inside and we arrived consultation room at 9:20. My daughter was really sick but only after 1 hour and 15 minutes the doctor came at 10:35 even if my daughter was the 3rd patient. The consultation went well, the doctor was friendly, he examined my daughter, explained me the condition, answered my questions and gave the prescription.Although the Clinic had great doctors, but the waiting time is unacceptable.It’s a Fraser Health Facility and the intention of starting this Clinic is good so please reduce the long waiting time, hire more staffs, doctors.

Had an amazing experience today! My daughter got a small gash on her head. We went straight to urgent care to avoid the hospital emergency room. They took us in right away, glued her up, and we were out of there in less than 5 minutes. Our nurse practitioner was so kind. Lovely people!

My teenage son went there today for severe head cold/lung/coughingThey took his temperature, but never looked in his throat, not in his ears nor listened to his lungs !!!!!! And said this is a virus!!! WORST CARE EVER!!! No doctor available so a nurse just assessed with her eyes?!!!!
