Tasty options at Tartu College, a Macedonian student residence at U. of T. It's a bit hard to find once inside the building, though there's good signage on Bloor St. The space is roomy & the staff are particularly friendly and helpful, however there was a limited selection of herbal teas. I meet here regularly with a group and always feel welcome. The food looks and smells delicious, with easy pricing suitable for students. Must try something next time.

All the food here is very good. The prices are impossible to beat. I come for breakfast almost every Friday and have been here for lunch and dinner a few times. There are a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood so these folks go to a lot of effort to ensure good quality. They cook all the food fresh each day. There are daily specials so it pays to read through the menu. For example, Friday is fish and chips. Very tasty. The lasagna, roast beef, and spaghetti & meatballs are excellent.

Cute cozy place for students of the Tartu college building to eat. I had dinner with my brother who is a student, and the food was amazing! I had the fish and my brother had the lamb, both so delicious and huge portions! The ladies working the counter are so friendly, they even learned my brothers name from previous days.

The food is the least expensive healthy food in Toronto. It is super fresh, tasty, and wholesome. You can have better food than this in Toronto if you want to pay more than $100. If you want to have great, healthy, fresh, wholesome food for less than $30 and even $20, this is probably the only place in Toronto. Literally. The biggest 5 star I have ever given.

Now, I wouldn't come here for the atmosphere, so don't think you're getting fancy dining. But what it lacks in that, it more than makes up for in wonderful service and really good home cooking. Their daily special are on point, as is their all day breakfast. Prices are beyond reasonable as well. Don't be fooled by the decor, just do your taste buds a favour and give it a chance. Your stomach will thank you.

Ordered a Vegetarian Omlette with toast and potatoes and tea. Omg these people have an amazing presentation going for skip the dishes app. They were able to make tea cup with water stand in a big bag perfectly and had all materials. i like my tea packed in a bag. So I was super happy. Go to breakfast place :D

I totally forgot about this place! Tartu Student Residence Restaurant/Cafeteria aka ‘Master's Buffeteria Catering’, they have been here, AFAIK, since early 1990s. They still offer discount meals for students who live in the residence and the food is still amazing, they offer daily specials for students and non-students alike, and best of all the place is still a good family-run business; nice people serving great cafeteria-style food at unbeatable prices. They are open Monday to Saturday.
