Lac Seul Evergreen Lodge

Just returned from a week stay at Evergreen Lodge and we had an amazing experience. The cabins were comfortable and clean, the fleet of boats was perfect for Lac Seul, the fishing was great, and the service and friendliness of Kathie, Brent and Ben was fantastic. If you're looking for a great fishing camp on legendary Lac Seul, look no further.

First trip to Lac Seul, and chose Evergreen lodge. Brent and Kathie are awesome, and resort has a family feel. They were very attentive to any needs, Brent pointed us to the walleye and we had a very successful fishing trip. Will be going back for sure. Highly recommend if you are going to Lac Seul for a hunt or a fishing trip give Evergreen a look!

Brent, Kathie, Ben and staff are wonderful people. Have been going to evergreen lodge since 2015 and will continue to go every year I can. The cabins are beautiful and well taken care of. Fishing is great always. I highly recommend a trip there you will not regret it.

Brent and Kathie are awesome hosts!! The cabins were clean and well furnished. This was my first time bear hunting and what a great experience it was! Brent is a very knowledgeable guide and went above and beyond to help us Iowa Whitetail hunters. I will definitely be back!!

My father in law and I stayed there for 4 nights— great fishing, lodging and service from the hosts! Brent, Kathie and Ben we very accommodating hosts! Even going so far as to invite us into to their home to watch a Packers game the first night we met them— as my FIL says— who does that?! True hospitality and care to meet the guests needs. Details are not overlooked! Would 100% recommend and stay again! Thanks for making our trip great!

Went years ago, loved the location and access to top-tier walleye fishing. Casting a line out near the waterfall, far back in the sanctuary, is a favorite memory of mine.

Brent, Kathie, and Michael are amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. We loved our stay once again; this was my third trip in 5 years, great to get back after a two year Covid hiatus. Boats are well maintained and solid. GPS units are key with navigation and avoiding the notorious rocks. Hard to beat the fishing on Lac Seul but coming back to the clean and cozy cabin made the trip all the better. Sitting on the porch recounting the successful catch was a daily highlight. The kitchen was well stocked making meal prep easy. Definitely utilize the outdoor deep frier for fresh walleye, we made the best fish tacos of my life. Check in and out was a cinch. Wi-Fi worked great. No complaints to think of, you will be in good hands at Evergreen. Don’t forgot to say hello to the pet pike, named ‘fish’ by Ben.

Our group has been coming to Evergreen Lodge for about 20 years. The docks are very protected and the camp boats provide a lot of room. The cabins are well kept. Had one of the best years of fishing ever for our group in 2022 and we plan on returning next year!

My girls and I had a great week at Lac Seul Evergreen when we stayed a few years back. Kathie and Brent are friendly and extremely knowledgeable, Kathie mentioned having a fish fry and I said we'd have to see if we caught anything and the look she gave me said don't you worry, and boy was she right! Great lodging, beautiful surroundings, swimming, fishing, boating and the Trout Forest Music Festival to boot! And Ben is the cutest helper around : )

Brent and Kathie are awesome! Cabins were clean, area was clean and setup well. Boats were phenomenal. 60hp yamaha's never had an issue starting. Boats were always gassed up and minnows were always stocked. Can't wait to go back.
