Best place I have ever gone! They are so honest and so helpful! I will continue forever to take my vehicle to these guys. Everyone in that building is soooooo kind and nice. They get the job done! I am very pleased with everyone's service.I HIGHLY recommend everyone to go to these guys.Best place by far in Fredericton.

I first went to them after taking my SX4 to two other places to fix an unknown problem. They both had no clue and I really couldn't afford to replace this car. 20 mins and $50 at devon auto and it was fixed! 6 months later and still no problem.I've gone in a couple times since then for different reasons and each time they were efficient and cheaper than I expected.Very happy!

Devon auto used to be a great honest place to go but it has since gone down hill since two of their mechanics have left. The lack of experience or lack of caring is extremely costly. They are great for oil changes and switching tires but if you need something in depth done, I don't recommend unless you have a lot of money to spare.

Horrible experience!!!! I had an inspection and failed it so they gave me a list of parts I needed. so I came back to them with all the parts that they had to install, they called me while they were doing the work and told me I need even more parts, and then when the work was done I went in to get my car and they ended up charging me another $100 for parts that they didn’t even mention me needing. I paid and left the shop with a fresh inspection sticker only to see that my ABS light is on and the car is now making strange noises that it’s never made before. I’ve gone back in twice now for them to fix their mistakes and they haven’t done anymore work on the car, just wasting my time, DO NOT GO HERE!! Fake mechanics, a bunch of scammers. Don’t trust them with your vehicle, I had a perfectly good car before I took it to them and now I need to go find a good mechanich to right their wrongs. So disappointed

The guys are great, very good at explaining the issue and giving you different solutions to fix it with prices. You can buy your owe parts and they will install them for you. Very reasonable priced.

I agree with other reviewers here who would go back for very general, easy work like MVI, brakes, etc. My experience was...odd. I took my car in for a look and they told me my rack needed replaced. Fair enough. The owner was very friendly, all staff were attentive. My appointment rolls around and they have trouble finding a (used) rack that isn't leaking, that's fine. It happens. I appreciate the trouble it took to find one that would last me another year or two.They replace it successfully. However, in a series of unfortunate events, the mechanic did not correctly mate the rack with the steering wheel and broke my clock spring. I called the following morning and explained my car's issue and the mechanic who answered immediately said 'well that wouldn't have been something we did' instead of perhaps taking a moment to consider, well, we did extensive work in that very region not 12 hours ago and it was working fine before, so, perhaps we should take a peek. I felt pretty dismissed.Not only this, but because they replaced the rack and one of the tie rods, they had to do an alignment. It was terribly off after they were done with it. Very crooked steering wheel, wheels squealing. The works. After some back and forth, I had to bring my car back to replace the clock spring and re-do the alignment, which they comped, but no one was eager to do this. Which I get. Free labour is...free. Not great for business. I read another individual's review after this nonsense that mentioned they didn't even have the equipment for an alignment, so I am not sure what sort of sorcery was afoot there.A day later, my pressure hose burst. I did not expect this for free and made zero mention of that. I just wanted it to be over with. The owner, however, told my partner when he came to get the keys that it was because the hose was not connected properly. Whether or not it was erroneously connected to the rack they had just replaced, I don't know. I am not a mechanic and there's more than one hose.Anyway. Go, they're friendly enough and quick to get a job done. I know stuff happens and not every job is seamless, but, I didn't love my own experience. I consider myself reasonable, a lot my feelings I kept to myself. I just wanted my car working as it should so I could life my life! Lol. I felt almost as if they saw an older car come in and didn't give it the proper care and attention that the job required.Alignment is *still* off somewhat, but not enough to warrant going back for a fourth time.

Well , I can’t imagine how they are even licensed to be a mechanic in NB, I had my car inspected and rejected by him , they have listed down the spare parts they need to pass inspection , they gave me a price quote for spare parts and labor which I accepted , they promised me one day to finish , they took 4 days . then charged me an extra thousand dollars and told me that he fired a mechanic for that delay, then I found out that he bought extra spare parts which he never told me about . He charged me almost double the quote for his poor management.And guess what , they put a fake inspection sticker that expires in 2023 instead of 2024 although we are in 2022 and the inspection validity should be 2 years , I didn’t know that until a friend of mine told me .I called the police to tell him what happened and they promised they will investigate and his license will be suspended if so .

Devon Auto has impressed us multiple times. We've sent family and friends there who have had the same experience. We Will never use a different mechanic shop. Friendly, quick service and fair prices.

Was looking for a place to get my car inspected and decided go take the ol' 2005 Corolla over to Devon Auto Repair. Very pleased with the service I got there. The owner is a very kind and genuine person that will be 100% honest with you. I was served by Kevin and he was a hoot. Very funny and not afraid to create some good conversation while you're waiting. The banter amongst the stuff was some pretty funny stuff. 5/5 would recommend.

Very friendly helpful, knowledgeable and professional team!I went there to get some more information about fixing cars as I fix my car myself. Being there and watching them working on cars it really did put a smile on my face!I know now how good mechanics they are, how they diagnose the problem and how good care they take to fix it. They treat the customer’s car like it was their own. They even try to explain what is wrong with it and what caused the problem.Regarding pricing, they are not expensive at all, very reasonable prices and when it’s something that doesn’t take long to fix they do it for free! I’m glad I chose Devon Auto for some more training because that’s my trusted garage for stuff that I can not do myself.Between Moncton and Fredericton it is the best place to go, since I am very picky about my car!I would highly recommend it as your trusted garage!
