Took my accord in for servicing and was very pleased how quickly and politely I was taken care of all for a reasonable price. I called this dealership and asked about fixing my AC in my 2018 Civic EX as it was blowing warm. This is a known issue with 2016-2021 Civics. They said to bring my car in and they’d have to search my VIN in their system for an AC condenser/ compressor recall. There’s a $139 diagnostic fee. I asked how much if not covered by recall? The lady quoted me over $1,000 at least if not more (depending what was broken), plus labour and taxes…I called my local dealership. They told me there is no recall at all. Honda Canada instead offered a 10yr extended warranty. I didn’t have to bring my car in. They searched my VIN over the phone and within minutes came back and said your compressor is covered until 2028 and condenser until 2026. No diagnostic fee. No labour costs. No charge. I just got back from that dealership a few hours ago. They replaced both my condenser/ compressor for free. Thankfully, I researched on Reddit and called around.

My husband had his vehicle serviced there last week and I ha e to say the staff were amazing. We were greeted by Jenn who was extremely helpful and very sweet. Her smile lit up the room. She took the time to explain everything to us. Thanks, Honda!
