Professor Regis and his students all treat everyone like family from the first day onward. Classes are challenging and fun. I always go home with a sense of accomplishment and an adrenaline rush. I would recommend anyone to drop in an try a class to see for yourself!

I’ve been fortunate enough to have some great teachers over the years and professor Regis Edilima de Deus is one of the best. He is knowledgeable, patient, pays attention to detail, and cares about his students development. The family atmosphere at Ligajjtoronto, is both respectful and fun. The environment feels safe and inclusive. A diverse group of excellent people train here, if you are interested in bjj this is the place to start.

I just started Jiu Jitsu with this team, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start. Regis is very welcoming and pays close attention to everyone, ready to help and answer all questions. Everyone is friendly, and very helpful, teaching tips as you go along.

In my opinion, this is by far the best BJJ gym in Toronto. Professor Regis has such way of teaching that allows me to push myself past my limit, and at the same time, be kind and loving towards myself. My fellow peers make me feel like I'm always welcome and we progress together as a supportive and friendly group. Liga JJ is always happy to have new students at our school and I love that.
